Half Life changed my life for the better:

It unlocked a new level of my imagination.

Counter Strike changed my life for the better:

It provided me a safe space to challenge and conquer a difficulty in life. When good internet reached my village, I was 17 years old and I started playing Counter Strike 1.6 as a girl on eastern european and middle eastern servers. I was hearing and reading the worst kind of things directed at me for the first time in my life. Being only words and knowing those people can't actually reach me and hurt me (and in real life they probably wouldn't. Since in real life no boys were telling me those kind of things), it allowed me to face them from a safe space. It calloused my mind into not caring about what anyone would tell me that I am, that I should be or that I should do. Example: I was not a girl with a penis, that was easy to see because I would look down and it's not there. I was not fat, I could see it in the mirror. So when the heavy things came, they already had no credibility in my mind. I am subhuman, genetically inferior, none of that was planting any seeds in my mind because I already knew they had no idea what they were talking about. So, I took that strength out in the world with me. I am following my soul and desires with ferocity, thanks to this game.
Also, I met my husband, my partner in darkness and light. The one that even if he leaves me, I am thankful for what we shared.

Team Fortress 2 changed my life for the better:
You can read all you want about economics, finances, how to be wealthy etc. But you have to trade a 9 cent item for a 10 cent item and realize you just made a cent (10% more that what you used to have) and it was not as an employee, YOU did that with your mind. That's when you truly grasp the financial possibilities life has to offer for you. For YOU! Not your neighbor that was born in a wealthy family and knows “the secret” or your friend with a famous college degree in economics and also knows “the secret”. You just found out their secret and it was never a secret anyways. It’s written in small, $5 books that you can buy from ebay, like “The richest man of Babylon” and other many books on this subject. However, actually doing what is written in the books, changes you.
