This game is just another gem, it's incredible. If you liked the To The Moon saga, this is just another incredible installment, filled with funny and deep emotional moments.

A gem of a game, with a lot of funny content (for italian people: play in italian!). My only issue is that I still see no sequel announcement.

Short game but funny one, expecially in local co-op. The graphics are really amazing and the gameplay is fun.

This game is surely one of the best action RPG on Steam. Gameplay is very fun, visuals are great and there is local co-op, too (for fights only, though). The development is also going on steadily, and the community is taken into consideration.
Can't wait for a sequel!

So far it seems like a very good remaster.
While they left untouched what was good with the game (music, voiceover, gameplay, etc), there are several improvements, including QoL features (for instance, finally we can use hotkeys). Also, they listened to the community and so they let you decide if you want to use original symbols. I can also say that there was a mini-patch already after 1 day of release.
They clearly put heart in this remaster, and although there could be some minor bugs for other people, I'm confident that they will be addressed properly.
EDIT: finished the game, absolutely satisfied!

First of all, this big PB fanboy bought the Collector's Edition (€150) for this game.
BUT, this game is nothing more than a draft of what it should have been. While the setting, the enviroment and the world building are stellar, this game is plagued by, above all, bugs, worthless AI (most of the enemies just literally stand still) and the worst combat system ever conceived (for real this time). The quests and the storytelling take turns between very good and terribly bad. On top of this, the facial expressions of the NPC are just 2010-worthy.
The first 10 hours of this game are terribly bad, after that you sort of get hooked though. My final judgment is that I expected WAY more than this, even if I somewhat enjoyed my time.
Also, I can never understand why this game was released so close to Elden Ring when it was clearly not ready to be released. Whatever.

If someone would have told me I could play a new Gothic game in 2022, I would have laughed at him; what a delusional guy. Now I laugh at everyone who is still here reading reviews instead of installing this masterpiece.
Before trying out this mod I was skeptical about mods in general, I thought they couldn't reach the quality of a full game. The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos proved me so wrong on this point. The quality of this product is top tier and the fun I had was just like when I was kid and explored the masterpiece itself: Gothic 2.
And when I thought it couldn't get any better, a quest about In Extremo appears.
And when I really thought it couldn't get any better, an NPC approaches me: it's Lord Saradoc himself!
In all seriousness, all I can say is that this product is at Gothic and Gothic 2 level. Superb! Congrats to the dev team, I wish you can use Archolos to get to an higher level.

This game is an unpolished gem. The potential for a sequel is huge, as this game would have been a complete masterpiece without some gameplay issues and bugs. Also, this game somehow has lightning fast loadings lol
