It's one of the best turn-based board games that you can play on a computer. It's good in both single- and multi-player mode. Great variety of playable characters gives you a chance to try different play styles. Rules are simple and easy to learn, yet you will want to play this game over and over again.

I have 300+ hours played in the game. It was pretty good when it just appeared - I liked WWII setting, graphics, and simple rules that allowed for interesting strategies both on the table and on building decks. IMHO, they should have stopped right there, and invest into promoting the game to attract as many players as possible. Instead they went wrong way of never-ending cycle of adding more and more cards, rebalancing existing cards and so on. Those who collected cool cards kept playing, getting even cooler cards, and easily beating crap out of novice players. When I play the game now, even though I'm just a player #3000+, I rarely face players who joined after me. Most of the time I have to play against those from #1000 or #2000, and it's no fun, as they use non-beatable strategies. So I uninstalled the game again, and I wouldn't recommend it to any new players anymore. :(

The game overall reminds Far Cry series, but without "sandbox-style" freedom of going where you want to go, as you're often pushed into narrow passages that allow for only one possible solution. Thus it's closer to TellTale sort of games, i.e. more of an interactive movie than an actual action game. It would've been still a pretty decent game, if not for the terrible cut scenes that are impossible to pass due to required high speed of hitting certain controls. First I've got stuck at the very first one of these and quit the game for a good 6 years, then I've tried to revisit it only to get dead stuck again at 22%.

I could only repeat my review for the original Overcooked game: "This is definitely one of the best coop family games I've played in years! The gameplay is simple enough for school kids, and you can have four players sharing the same screen - we've actually done it, you just need enough game controllers for that."
Overcooked 2 is pretty much the same game with new levels and cooks, which is just great and totally worth money paid for it. If you liked the original one, get this one and keep playing! If you didn't play the original Overcooked - try it first, as it may be cheaper for the same experience.

So far I have played the game for 30+ hours and found it to be a very solid remake of good old Theme Hospital. I would totally recommend it to all fans of that old game and anybody who enjoys that type of economy/management/real-time strategy game. It's a lot of fun to play and I haven't seen any major glitches there. It does get somewhat repetitive over time, as any game of that kind, but with each new level/hospital developers add new challenges, so the game keeps you involved. And having all these fake funny illnesses to treat effectively prevents it from being just another real-time game about balancing supply and demand for hospital services.

Loyalty mechanis is completely broken in this expansion (as of Sep 2018). Tiny city with population of 1 and amenities +2 is rebelling every now and then, and garrisoned unit has zero impact on loyalty. This is complete and utter BS.

Junk, not worth my dollars.
The series started promising with original XCOM.
Then, instead of focusing on AI and gameplay, developers just killed the game.
First, came out that sequel that turned out to be just not playable. Same stupid scripted events and on top of that forcing players to act quickly by introducing some turn-limited missions. And now this disappointment. Yes, they've added some Sims-like soldier customization. But they've kept the same turn limitations and scripted events (because they're too lazy to program proper AI). The moment I see aliens they do two turns right away. Really? And all I'm supposed to do about it is setting up an overwatch?
Sadly, there haven't been a decent tactical turn-based game since Jagged Alliance 2. Silent Storm series have been somewhat good, but not on par. At least the gameplay there was fair.
And this XCOM just went all the wrong way for me. It is essentially, not a follow-up to original XCOM/UFO games, but rather a follow-up to Incubation (from 1997), as your freedom of action in combat is artifically limited in a big way, squad size is limited to just 4-5 soldiers, and your main task is properly timing that "overwatch/interrupt".
The last drop - swords in a Sci-Fi game? Really? Are we playing Ninja Turtles here?

That's an absolutely great sequel (or pre-sequel) to Borderlands and Borderlands 2!
I totally love the lower gravity and limited oxygen here - that's a very good change to the gameplay.
As usual for the Borderland series, the plot is very solid and keeps you involved to the very end. The game is atmospheric and full of good humor. I would rate it 10 out of 10.

I've played the very first Deus Ex many years ago. But this game isn't worth even $6 sale price for me. Yet another typical corridor-style stealth/shooter. As bad and unrealistic (even for sci-fi) as recent Hollywood movies. And one of the most annoyig things in the game is its non-intuitive interface.
If you want to play a decent sci-fi themed shooter, go for Borderlands or Bioshock instead.
And if you're looking for a great role-playing, go for Fallout 4 or Witcher 3. Even Batman series games are more realistic and entertaining than this one.

One of the best and weiredest (in a good sense) Monopoly-like games. I only played single-player so far, but I totally love it. It is easy to play but hard to master. The game will certainly benefit from "hot-seat" mode that is claimed to be in development at the moment.
