Milkstone Studios create low-cost, high-quality and well-supported games in various genres. My only previous experience was with the lovely Farm Together, a game I have spent way too much time relaxing in.

On my hunt for my next Vampire Survivor-like game, I saw this, and when I saw the developer it was an easy purchase for me.

Tons of unlockable characters, weapons, trinkets, and meta-upgrades to keep you busy just to unlock stuff. Well-crafted with a bit of their own twist to the genre when it comes to how weapon evolutions are handled, among other things.

This game delivered exactly what I was looking for and lots of it. I strongly recommend this game for anyone interested in this genre of games.

I will start of by saying that I have enjoyed this game, which may be odd considering that I am not recommending this game to other players.

But my lack of recommendation stems from the fact that the developer appears to be struggling with issues outside of the development of the game, and is in turn sharing these views and opinions in patch notes. The information shared is not comedic or informative but rather quite insulting to a lot of fellow players. It worries me for the future of the game and I do would not want to recommend anyone to support a developer that seems to be very unstable and quite immature.

Due to this I will not recommend this game.

I am absolute garbage at deck building games. Despite this minor flaw I still enjoy them thoroughly. Griftlands is absolutely a deck builder, but it contains a lot more story than I am used to in these games. At some point, after a lot of hour, I assume that it will boil down to a more mechanics focused game for the player, but for me, that is still not the case after 15 hours.

To my understanding the setting is unique to this game, and the story, and the main characters in them, are vastly different, allowing for different kinds of decks to be built. The storys can be played through at an increased difficulty as well, giving you potentially lots of hours of gameplay, figuring out what kind of broken combos that can be assembled.

Unfortunately, from what I have been able to see, there are no plans for expansions or similar additions to the game. Potentially due to lackluster sales or player activity (looking at steamcharts) which is incredibly sad, since I really enjoyed my experience. There are still some kind of daily challenges available for those that want more in the end.

Super fun driving experience, even with a controller. If you enjoy the act of getting a car from point A to B this is an excellent game. To use the most worn out gaming comparison, this is very much the Dark Souls of racing games.

I bought the GOTYE or equivalent edition for 9.99 euro and I have easily gotten that value out of the game.

But as a fairly modern progressaholic I have two complaints about the game:
1) The entire career, garage, staff, and upgrade system felt like they were cobbled together the afternoon before shipping the game. It is superficial and feels meaningless.
2) The GOTYE starts you off with enough money and cars that you hardly have to buy cars or race for cash.

But to repeat myself: The driving is fun enough to carry the rest of the game, which is quite essential for a racing game.

Early Access done right. Flawless launch. Developers that communicate. Great addition of free content with option cosmetic DLC, Procedural generation that still feels fresh after more than 100 hours. Nothing locked behind difficulty, play the game like *you* want to and still get all the goodies (though the pace may vary)..

In addition to this it is a damn fine game. It's a cooperative game where the developers have taken time to remove as many reasons as possible for friction among players. As a non-expert player I prefer to have all 4 classes present, which to me implies though and balance.

Bite-sized Indiana Jones style pixel adventures. Nice variety of characters and scenarios and a little bit of persistent progress goes a long way and considering the price it is the perfect lazy evening purchase.

This game is ridiculously relaxing to play. Still receiving frequent free developer upgrades. Best spontaneous Steam purchase I have made in a very long time.

In TWW2 I got off to a slower start than the first game. At first I thought that the magic was somewhat lost. But with the continuous support and addons and the amazing amount of gameplay I am once again certain that the third game will come out way before I am tired of this one.

Reviewed as a "perfect 7/10" sandbox game I initially ignored Mad Max. But for some odd reason I was bored one night and bought it on a sale. This is the most fun I've had in a singleplayer game in a very long time.

The main characters are fun without boring you. The story is amusing. The dialogue is perfectly exaggerated Max Max-ian. Also there is a dog. And he's not the only one eating dogfood.

Though some the gameplay may very well be quite derivative, this game is greater than the sum of it's parts.

I never got involved in Stage 1 of the game due to the very weird way they handled their DLC and the different preorder bonuses. In hindsight, this is something I greatly regret.

Having started to play the game in Stage 2 I really enjoyed it. Yes, there's some weird balance issues when looking at different skill brackets, but this game was so refreshingly unique that I was instantly hooked and was looking forward to playing it for a long time.

The only complaint I have on Stage 2 is that there were a lot less opportunities for the monster player to sneak around and hide, due to the new tracking tools. I wish they'd kept the longer sneakier hunt-based gameplay that I've heard was in Stage 1.
