The PVE is very fun, the PVP is super-sweaty

This game was awful at launch.
But is has been redeemed with recent patches and updates. Very fun game to play now.

Gothic and Risen games have always had clunky combat systems. Of all the things you can change or improve, you had to make the clunky combat even clunkier.

Why? Fighting shouldn't be a science, it should be enjoyable. You should let me be able to swing my sword aimlessly in the hope of hitting something. That's what I did when I first played Gothic, then I gained skill in weapons and got better.

Other than that; I don't care about the dodgy dialogue. I don't care about whatever else you do with this game.

Just make the combat a bit more true to the original, more souls-ey more witcher-ey and more like the original.

Don't know why people are bragging about buying old games and DLC, then comparing them to this brand new, polished, fun game. If you like strategy, this game is good. Don't pay attention to the self pro-claimed 'fans' and 'community' hate comments.

Decent game, fun to play, takes time to master.
I never played DoW2, only the first. This is a good mix of that, CoH, and other RTS games. You can use heroes; they are balanced, they aren't OP, it's a strategy game. You can bring the biggest ones down fairly easily if you have resources and the right units. That's what some people struggle with. They get confused and upset becase they thought they could steamroll the world with an army of weak-af infantry, then don't understand why they lost. So they have a tantrum and call the game a MOBA... lols

Owned Rome II since release. Loved every second. If you struggle at this game, sell your PC. If you don't enjoy this game, you have something wrong with you, please seek urgent medical assistance. The units are balanced perfectly, anyone who says otherwise simply has no understanding of strengths and weaknesses and most likely needs to spend more time outside. If the campaign is too hard, play co-op with a friend. If you don't have a friend, sell your PC and go outside.
