this game has got to be one of the best games ever made.
Yes it has bugs, yes it has issues. But the dev team have been transparent and clear with their goals. It will always be a work in progress but together we have made it the game to be remembered. It has been hours of fun for me, it has changed my life.

On May 6th, the community lead the charge against Sony.
The devs backed us up and together we were able to beat Sony in their war against gaming. This is truly the game of the year and Sony will not be allowed to tarnish that.

This game is so addicting and if you are a true fan of monster catchers...like a certain franchise...this game is like the ULTIMATE monster catcher. 10/10

plus. who doesn't like to utilize an army of monkeys with sub machine guns defending your base?

I went into this game, totally blind. I never kept up with any of the updates, rumors, or drama. I watched a few trailers here and there but only the cinematic ones, never the gameplay.

So suffice to say, i didnt know what to expect. After years of waiting, seeing this game go back and forth from studio to developer to publisher. From being delayed and whatnot, it was nice to finally get my hands on it.

As I am writing this, I still havent beaten the game but I feel i've experienced enough of it to give a proper review.

The Game is good, like really good. If you can set aside the multitude of glitches and bugs, this game really really shines through. Being a gay man, I found it incredibly heartening to see the amount of same-sex choices you can have in this game albeit a little low for my tastes still though. The story is very gripping and dynamic, with decision making that actually feels like its important to the environment of the game. There are actually missions you can *FAIL* if you don't do them properly, unlike most games where you cant really "Fail" a quest unless failing is PART of the quest. These quests are all different and dynamic too. For example, spoiler for a side quest here if you care but its not really an important quest, take Delamains quests. Hes a self-aware AI that operates a fleet of self driving taxis. His personality splits into 7 different cars and you have to travel all over the city searching for each car and re-establish a secure connection to them. Each car is different, almost representing the seven deadly sins. You have to do something different 7 times to get the cars, which can range from actually blowing up the car to talking down one from commit suicide.

and thats just one mission.

overall so far I give the game a 9/10. would be 10/10 if it werent for the crazy amount of bugs and glitches.

I played and loved killing floor. It was fun and engaging and full of gore and metal head bashing music!

I played killing floor 2 and all that was hightened. The game is super fun and really full of so much stuff. I love playing it with my friends and i just think its a overall good game!

Extremely fun and entertaining. There is an endless amount of things that you can construct with whats in the game so far. Just let your imagination run wild and build the most wackiest things possible! Or play survival, an action packed game mode filled with resource mining and refining, constructing ships to suit certain needs like welding and grinding. Ever since multiplayer the game has gotten progressively more fun! Now since multiplayer is up we can join any server and have faction wars. Were you can either remain neutral and survive on your own and defend yourself from pirates. or you can join a faction and help fight against the other factions in dogfights and captial ship battles! Although the system isn't quite ready yet for soemthing as big as a capital ship battle you shouldn't be worried about having to wait to long on optimization. Keen software House are the best company I have ever seen, they add things to their game that the community asks for and they have WEEKLY updates. That means you actually feel like you are contriubting to space engineers growth and development. This game will enter Beta in no time then soon it will be a full game and I intend to be there every step of the way. Stated before this game is in ALPHA which means it is unstable in some branches but ok in others, it still has a long way to go before it is finished. :D

September 2, 2015: Well I can surely say its been a long time, i have about 1k hours in this game and i gotta say its time well spent. With steam workshop support and modding support we have so many talented people adding their mods and their creations to the workshop. This game is open source so the community can work on the game alongside the developers and apply updates that benefit the game for everyone!

Its been a very long road since the game was released and it still gts better everyday. I remember when i first got this game i couldnt play because it was so heavily glitched and un-optimizied. But now its better and i can play without having humongous drops in FPS. It still has issues here and there but they will be resolved in time. This game has TONS of potential but it needs OUR support in order to get it there! Come on! be part of something great! Lets make this the BEST space sim out there!
