Играбельно, но всё ещё очень коряво.
Шикарный саундтрек, атмосферность, боёвка.
До нормального состояния всё ещё десятки крупных патчей.

Довольно неплохой сайд-скроллер экшн про колдунство и манипуляции стихиями, немного с юмором, немного со стихами, с коопом и с неплохой реиграбельностью. Есть немного стелса ("наверное, ветер"/"просто показалось"), леммингов/мудоконов (привет, одиссея Эйба!), прокачка способностей, новая игра +.
Немного проседающий финал с пустынным уровнем и "босс-файтом" не портит впечатление от в целом неплохой игры.

Рекомендую любителям кооп-игр. Проходится целиком в совместном режиме через Remote Play, за время игры был только один вылет в самом начале.

Бесплатная глава из ещё не вышедшей игры, похожей на сами знаете какую игру :)
Из однозначных плюсов (помимо бесплатности этой главы) - наличие коопа через сплит-скрин (для тех, кому это важно/нужно). Отзывчивые разработчики, которые прислушивались к отзывам и выпускали апдейты.
Ещё есть перекаты, шкала выносливости, восполняемые хилки, прокачка, статы оружек, растущие с прокачкой соответствующих атрибутов, навыки оружки, открывающиеся при её использовании. Возможность погрузиться в мрачный гнетущий мир непонятной "вселенной", сразиться с одним боссом, поискать секретные комнаты и проходы.
Из минусов - не слишком приятная боёвка (управление (на момент написания отзыва оно не настраивалось под себя), мувсеты у оружия, противники - всё уступает играм из серии Dark Souls), баги, баланс, подача сюжета.

По поводу баланса: на выходе данной главы игра была слишком сложной, персонажи были слишком слабыми, враги - наоборот, не было прокачки, тяжёлое оружие было слишком медленным и наносило урон неправильно. После третьего обновления игра стала в разы легче, босс, к которому я не собирался идти на первом патче, умер с первой попытки.

В желаемое игру не добавил. Если подкрутят графику и боёвку, да не напортачат с сюжетом, может получится вполне стоящая игра.

To developers:
Good job, especially with prompt updates, but the game needs more polish: better controls, movesets, enemies. Maybe, parry and backstab? AoE attacks, e.g., for a jump attack, as it is hard to aim and land it on enemies.
The fighting in general feels clunky and unsatisfying. Before updates it just felt unfair due to very slow attacks in general and lack of fast attacks or means to deal with fast enemies if you played with heavy class. Ranged had a very weak railgun (still useful to some degree for restoring stamina) and clunky fast hitting weapon with very minor damage output. The balanced class had the best sword, in my opinion. After the updates, the game overall became too easy (making fearful effigy a "maybe?" option), heavy class now has more damage and capacity to quickly replenish healing injections, but stil remains clunky and has some superslow (useless) attacks. Still, inability to deal with enemies elegantly - as you are forced to quickly kill them with the same combinations over and over (knock down/stagger, left click, rinse and repeat), will make the game boring pretty fast. In dark souls they could have tons of weapons with some of them being junk, but here, I don't think it is a viable option (not in demo). Currently, all the weapons that drop from enemies are inferior to the initial class weapons or have the same moveset.
Fighting single enemies is very easy, but boring, as there's almost no variety in moves; fighting multiple enemies is risky and boils down to using AoE attacks and running.
My suggestions: add more crowd control options, e.g., better shield utility (even with single swordman enemy, blocking only negates damage, but does not affect the attacker) - maybe debuffs like slowdown, shield bash/dash (via shield skills maybe?); same for other weapons - maybe knocking down and pushing enemies with heavy sword swings, applying bleed and shock with quick weapons? Why not have kicks like in Dark Souls, or shoves, grabs and throws? Maybe attacks with raised shield? It definitely needs more combos and moves (relatively fast starter attack is a must for heavy swords, imho).
Better directional input (as mentioned in other reviews and discussions), roll/shield cancels for slow attacks.

Отличный образец японского игростроя (трэш-экшн с +100 миссий и +1000 оружек) в пятой итерации, когда уже не всё так просто с хронологией, неномерными частями, и есть заигрывания с альтернативной историей серии.
Есть минусы по сравнению с 4.1, но в целом - играется иначе, миссии новые, в коопе играть так же весело :)

Плюсы: Занятная боёвка, кооп, отличающиеся четыре персонажа, стильные ролики для каждого персонажа в самом начале.
Минусы: Цена, озвучка, интерфейс, сюжет, баги.

TLDR: Do not buy, unless your intent is to try out something new in coop similar to Helldivers. Otherwise, play them or Alien swarm, Magicka, Running with rifles, Livelock.
This game is too EA, too grindy, too boring and badly balanced in solo.

This is my first refund. Bought this because of one of the negative reviews, that recommended to buy Helldivers (that I already have) instead and complained about game's difficulty in solo.

I played it for about an hour and must say that it is not that hard: the missions are very short (it took me half an hour to complete first mission solo after some tinkering with settings and two failed attempts, and then I had something like 4-5 successful runs and one failed), but the game itself is just not fun. It is not well paced - completion of first two available missions won't grant you access to other two, you can see on mission select screen. These two will either require reaching some higher rank or reaching mission score of 10000 points on one of two first available missions (which will also unlock one skill and one weapon), but I didn't want to stick for that long to find out, as one run results in something like 350 points (there's a modifier, that makes maps bigger, but you get 50% bonus to these points), which means - something like 30 runs to unlock rocket barrage or minigun-like weapon. Which brings us to another problem - the gameplay itself is not fun. Weapons' design seems to be influenced (ripped off) by Helldivers, but you only get two weapons in the begining (rifle and shotgun), so imagine you're playing helldivers, but without stratagems, with only two weapons, no sidearms, no grenades, in tight corridors and rather small rooms of a space station. Or if you will compare it with Alien Swarm (which is much older and also free) - similar gameplay but with greatly limited arsenal, no tactical depth (turrets, door welding, mines), poor sound effects.
