Steam used to display the profile url by default(which contains the long steam/valve ID), but now you have to go into the settings and enable it, or you can right click on anyones profile page and click Copy page url, then paste it in chat or were ever you need to get the ID number out of the url

How do you find your steamid (or valve id as it was known)?

For any Steam Support staff, my account was not hacked today, I just have a fan that likes to use steams Display names function to imposter me, knowing that most people do not know how to check steam ID's, I do really wish that Steam would not allow Display names to duplicated other players account names....

i want to know how to join civ5 league play. my name only shows up as a civ4 player and there is no where on the civplayers site that allows me to join civ5. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Civplayers has a Civ5 league, www.civplayers.com , just register and fill out the Civ5players data(name and steam ID) and your in business, then just head to the Civplayers Steam lobby, link is on the left side of the CP web page

I personally don't think acheivments add to MP, but they do no harm if some people like to get them al the power to them.....

Yes the Steam regional games list are not great, but go to our site at www.civplayers.com and click on the Chat link on the left that will take you to our steam chat were you will find alot more games

also i saw u on steam forums talking about acheivements for civ, do u think we should have em

thing is i live in norfolk in britain, which isnt the best place in the world for mp matches, the internet isnt brill

MP has issues, but we still have lots of fun 4 player games happening in the CP Steam chat, most players are not experts we have all skill levels so come join us

is mp good i want to join a game but its too daunting
