honestly the worse gamer ive ever played with 10/10

i am stuck and could do with some help, i have looked and looked into my problem but i seem to see apsolutely nothing about it and basically, im playing home realm like my pet dungeon on DK2 and everything seems to be in order but one thing, that thing is that i cant use my veins of evil, its not allowing me to spend my points on it for the extra rooms and major important stuff required on their anyone know of any fixes please?
