Just as with the other games by this developer, this one was a lot of fun to play.
Although fun might be the wrong word for a horror game.
It has a creepy atmosphere, the VHS-style is very cool and gives you a bit of an old 'found footage' feeling.
It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat with every corner you cross.

Can't wait to play the other games, bought the bundle on steam a while ago!

Lots of people don't seem to enjoy this game for various reasons.. But I did enjoy it!
It's a cool way of having an 'alternative' view on the events during RE2 & RE3: Nemesis and the role Umbrella plays in the whole Raccoon City incident. Some beloved Resident Evil characters will make a cameo/play an important role!

Only downside I found:
The game does use Games for Windows Live (which is a pain in the ass). I was not able to log into my account, meaning I was not able to save the game/play online. The latter, however, would be recommended.
Although the main story game only takes 3-4 hours (single player/blind playthrough), some of the enemies (human AI, not zombies) have a ridiculous damage output/aim compared to your team AI (who often stand in the middle of the room collecting bullets with their bodies), which makes playing this game alone quite frustrating at times.

If you get the game, and you're not able to log into your GfWL account/play single player, get it when it's on a discount.
For the full price, eh..

Never got to play the original, but boy, is this game a masterpiece!
A must-have for every RE fan or horror enthusiast in general!

It's not the zombies you'll have to worry about, let me tell you that much...

Amongst the best RE games and horror games in general!
Just prepare yourself and bring another controller/keyboard if you try pro mode. The quicktime events will have you break them out of rage in that mode.

Everyone has their games they come back to no matter what or when.. To me, that is the Lord of the Rings online. And Digimon World on PS1, but that's beside the point.
Been playing ever since it was released, before it got on Steam and you had to pay a monthly fee. Saving my allowance for a 3 month adventure was always the best!
11 years have gone by and I still enjoy it up to this day, even got my friends addicted to it, who know nothing at all about Tolkien's universe!

Really recommend this game for any of those who enjoy classic MMO's or is a fan of the Lord of the Rings, being it the films, books or whatever.

It has been a long time since I got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and this game did it just now, and I liked it!

Fun game to play with friends, map is a bit small once you've been everywhere, but overall lots of fun!

I bought this game during steam sales so I got the four pack to play with friends.
The game itself looked really cool and we really wanted to play it, unfortunately we couldn't.

My PC's specs are more than twice as good as this game needs on highest settings, yet I couldn't get above 10 FPS.
One of my friends could play it without any problem, using Windows 7. Not sure if the problem lies with Windows 8 or the game itself.

Gameplay wise, it looked pretty nice when it came to graphics, but I never managed to find out if it was actually a good game besides the graphics.

Really sad as we wanted to give this a try ...
