I played all the Civ games from Civ 1 - 6. So far this one is the worst for me. The leaders with nations doesn't make sense, strategic resources doesn't matter that much anymore and no builders. Boats being able to go up rivers is a welcome feature though.

When you upgrade to 2025 you need to buy DLC again. So every year you upgrade, you need to buy the same DLC again

Love the game so far. Graphics are good with a lot of gore if you like blood everywhere. Landing a nice combo with a finisher is very satisfying.

Feels too basic, still prefer Civilization 6 as a turn based strategy going through the ages. But overall it is okay, will advise to buy on sale. Game still needs a lot of balancing. My Veteran tanks almost got destroyed by 2 normal ranked barbarians with wooden clubs.

One of the best space strategy games out there.
