my friends and I have enjoyed this game since BETA. It has a decent learning curve and a tutorial to help new players understand their ship and the game modes. The game is free to play, though it does have a cosmetic market. You can also purchase "Hero" ships from the Market that net you extra free XP and bonus credits to use on your other ships to buy modules. The detail and graphics are great and the ships and environments are also richly detailed. There are 3 factions in the game with each faction excelling in different areas (damage, armor, speed). You can use any of the 3 faction ships in the varying game modes. There are AI bots that will enable themselves after a while to make sure you can get into games. Generally the "busiest" game times are Sunday - Thursday 2pm - 5pm PST and Friday and Saturday 5pm -10pm PST. This is still an amazing game, and a great way to spend time with your other sci-fi buddies. It's great that Devs already have a road map for the game through 2021 as well.

Amazing game. I remember when the game was originally introduced as a turn based RTS and somehow magically became a first person action RPG. This takes place in the "End Times" portion of Warhammer. The gameplay is basically Left 4 Dead with Warhammer Avatars. You get rewarded by rolling for equipment after every successful mission, forging and fusing gear and basically tailoring each of the 5 classes to your liking. I get a kick every time my Dwarf uses his flintlock to one-shot snipe a distant enemy far before they see him =D. It should be noted your gear depends heavily on which difficulty setting your party is able to complete levels on.

Replay value is HIGH. The game can be challenging even on EASY setting. It's very easy to get overwhelmed by sheer numbers if you do not stay with your party. The Assasins and Packmasters also catch many party members unaware.
