I'm gonna level with you. This game is hot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'd rather drag my butt and balls through broken glass and hot sauce than I would reinstall and play this game. Every thing is crazy over priced and the events are just cesspools of pure greed and and laziness with recolor skins ending up costing hundreds of dollars at times. Now you may think, with the insane amount of capital this game must rake in, They must have a large team that frequently pushes updates and adds content. WRONG. Season after season its just another rehashed battle pass with some middle of the road skins and a few Apex packs. When they finally do use their brains and add a character, they usually add the character in the most broken state you'll ever see and then take their sweet sweet time to fix it. Then there's the servers. 20HZ servers??? This game has earned roughly 3.4 billion dollars since its release and it feels like NONE of that money has went towards a better experience for the customer. It really is wild to me that people still posses the patience and mental stability to play this game on a daily basis.
So in conclusion, if you want to try this game. DON'T. There's nothing here for you but sadness, pain, and anguish. If you still play this game. Please. Seek therapy.


Edit : The day is 9/24/2024. They did the exact ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing they swore they wouldn't do. Don't give your money to the pot of greed folks. Some times you just need to let a good thing die. This games been on a steady down hill decline since season 5 and there's no amount of protesting or complaining that's going to stop it. EA can sit, spin and gyrate on my meat. Its still the same ♥♥♥♥. No progress in gameplay, no new features, just a bunch of half @$$ed ♥♥♥♥♥♥ skins no one wants. Also, how do the servers still suck, 6 years later. CEO might be more autistic than me.

As of 6-6-2024 I am now considering this game dead. There's typically only 2 official servers open at a time. One american and one European server. Those go down for service quite frequently leaving only community or modded servers to play on. That would be great, HOWEVER, there's never a server at full capacity, you would be lucky to find a server half full.

On a separate note. The armor system is complete dog wiener. You have to grind to rank 140 to get heavy armor just to stay competitive with the rest of the lobby making progression feel like you're riding a sandpaper dildo covered in lemon juice. Also, there's zero penalty for drop shots, and boy oh boy, do the 12 year old's have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ field day with that.


That's pretty much all i gotta say, Considering the game is early access, there's still the chance that we could see some changes for the better, but due to the infrequency of updates, that often contain little to no balance changes or changes to mechanics and game play, I would NOT hold my breath. Yeah, ♥♥♥♥♥ been down hill since CS2. Every update breaks the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game more and more. Now every time I play a causal match I get between 25-60% upload packet loss. Fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Valve sucks and is a constant disappointment these days. They nuked CS1 just to launch CS2 with significantly reduced features. This would be okay if they actually made an effort to make the game more playable and add back the features the community wants, but they really don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ care. They just keep churning out half baked skins and this pathetic excuse for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ operation. Stop giving Gayben the clown your money until they actually take actions to make this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game playable.

Great game, a powerful pc suggested to run at desiered fremerate and settings.
