Good game....
But very repetitive, with no variation in a replay on the same map. Enemies always in the same places.
No PvP
No variation of objectives on the same map.

Early Access Review
Performance has improved compared to launch day, before it was unplayable.
Today I can play on the same hardware I used on launch day.
But performance still needs improvement.
The servers are also more stable.

About the game:
It can be played PvE (coop) and PvPvE
It is a tactical FPS with open world extraction.
Very immersive and challenging. PvE community seems friendly and always ready to help new players as well.

For those who love Retro Games, especially if they are a fan of Wonder Boy.
Simple game that keeps the player engaged every minute, with a good soundtrack, simple, direct text and many worlds to travel in 8Bits.

The game is a platformer with metroidvania elements, but not traditional metroidvanias, Aggelos is more restrained in this aspect and with less backtracking. Exploration is enjoyable, and naturally acquired skills help you explore new areas.

An interesting thing is that some paths can lead you to secret shops or precious treasures, in addition to items that are needed in side missions, exploring further or completing side missions can reward you with an important item or coins. And no missions marked on the map, here you discover your path or secrets through conversations with NPCs.

Aggelos offers an incredibly nostalgic journey. His references in games like Wonder Boy, and even other titles like the Megaman and Super Mario franchises, can be seen in all aspects.

Played from start to finish on the Steam Deck LCD

2D platformer that will one day be considered a classic.

Inspired by Ninja Gaiden (as well as other games), in The Messenger you are a messenger (the name already conveys this) and you have the mission to deliver the scroll at the top of the mountain while an invasion of demons takes place. The game is full of humor in the dialogues.

The game starts off as a linear 2D 8bit platformer and ends up as a true 16bit metroidvania with various abilities. The game has portals of time each time the player crosses a portal of time the design of the maps is changed, giving access to new unexplored areas.

The game has several secrets and some secrets are more difficult than the bosses, which in general are even simpler.
Excellent game.

Classics never die and Chrono Trigger is on that list of games.
Just like FF7, Chrono Trigger is another JRPG that has had a lot of influence.

The battle system is the old known Active Time Battle - ATB, it is similar to a turn system the difference is that the turn counter doesn't stop and some turns are faster and others slower it will vary with the enemy or your character.

The PC port at launch was VERY bad and over time Square brought some corrections, but some details are still missing, image filter options, menus that are 16:9 and a translation for other languages. There are MODs to fix or smooth out the issues.

The story is about time travel, to fight an ancient creature, giving the possibility to travel to different historical eras recruiting characters in those different eras and some actions in the past interfere in the future (some puzzles are solved that way).

The combat is ATB as I said, but here unlike the old Final Fantasy, you see the enemies being able to even dodge some combats.
The fact that the combat is ATB has a certain brilliance as the enemy moves around the arena during the battle and you can delay a hit by waiting for enemies to stay close to deal area damage hitting more than 1 enemy or change the order of attack.
The party is made up of 3 characters, the game has a total of 7 playable characters, and depending on your party you can have a combination of moves between a duo or a trio. The game allows you to change party characters at any time, except during battle.
The game has a standard evolution system as your characters evolve, you learn new spells or moves, and even some of them can be combined, generating double or triple attacks as I mentioned. The game doesn't require any grinding, most battles are pretty smooth.

Square could have given a little more attention to this Steam version of Chrono Trigger.
Chrono Trigger should be played by everyone who likes JRPG
