The linux version does not work, and even when forcing proton as a compatibility tool it’s impossible to start a game.

Début incompréhensible, et je suis mort d’une crise cardiaque en essayant de ramasser une cravate.

A kingdom ripoff, which would be ok if it was done well, but it’s not.

The game has hardcoded keybindings, so it’s unplayable.

Pretty good for a work in progress! Plenty of choices to make, unlocks, different enemy types, 8 different towers... Very good UI with tooltips (not perfect yet). Runs perfectly on my Gentoo Linux box.
Will definitely keep an eye on this for the full release.

This is an interesting take on the tower defence genre; you need to buy not only towers but also various buildings and improvements, so you always have to make a choice between increasing your firepower, your revenues/population, or your defences. There is also an exploration mechanic, but it takes way too many tries to find something interesting in the fog of war.

Overall I enjoyed playing it, took me 26 hours to get a first win (80 waves). (I know other people finished it much faster, but here it is.)

On the negative side:
- It takes a really long time to beat the 80 waves, and the game does NOT save between waves, so you have to play the whole thing in one go.
- The games gets quite repetitive and a bit tedious in the second half.
- I didn’t like much the need to use a certain tower with manual controls, although that did make the game less boring…
- Not much variety or upgrades for the towers, and only a straight 6 squares long path at every wave.
- As said previously, the exploration mechanic needs to be tweaked so that we get to explore more and/or find more points of interest…
- Also the skulls mechanic is pretty meh. Takes forever to have enough money to get the building, and then it gives only rarely an amount of gold that is too low to be useful. (They can also be used at altars, but… these first have to be found…)

Good TD fun for a while, but it gets repetitive since nothing in the gameplay ever changes.

Also clicking bugs, sometimes you have to move a bountyhunter before being able to click on the coin above it, and worse, sometimes you can’t move a tower at all! Clicking on it does nothing.

Also several things are not explained at all (the coin above the bountyhunters, the mana system, what "[2]" means in the descriptions, etc.)

Still giving it a recommendation, because as I said it’s still fun for a decent amount of hours, and besides the clicking bugs it works fine under Linux. (ah yes, except the lack of 21:9 support…)
