Greetings Earthlings
I am here for because i love to talk gaming. So feel free to leave a message and chat. For MP games, right now i guess Star trek online and SWTor, but i don't play them often. I like to talk shop and I'm always down to help out and trouble shoot a system.

Happy gaming!
Pong anyone?
My gaming history started with "Lunar lander" on a computer from 79/80 right around when "Space invaders" and the classic arcades came to life. I did play some pinball and breakout before that, but Lunar Lander was my first "Computer game" The 80's with the classic consoles trying to "flip" "Donkey Kong" or spell "special" in "Lady bug." I spent many of days riding my bike to the mall, playing "Akari Warriors" and "spy hunter," and countless days on an Apple II at the local library playing the original "Castle wolfenstien" in all it's 2D green screen glory. Even better were the late nights on my very own TI-99 playing the tape loaded dungeon crawler "Tunnels of Doom" trying to make it another level deeper into the dungeon. Gaming was already set into my DNA.

"Diablo" was the game that got me to build my first PC a p166. "Baldur's gate" became the game that lead me to my first upgrade just to play. My Matrox 4MB vid card was not enough and i needed a Creative labs 16MB monster. The door had finally swung open, "Starcraft, Mech Warrior, Thief and Tomb Raider" were soon followed by "Freedom force" and the MMO explosion of the turn of the century. "Starwars Galaxies and City of heroes" For me this was the true golden age of computer gaming and most are classics even 20+ years later. Still gaming hasn't been better, SWG and CoH are both Active again and the new stuff blows my mind still.

When i think about "Lunar Lander" a little pixel ship trying to navigate through a rocky crag to land on the moon to basically living in space with "Star Citizen" it sure has been a great ride. The old saying still holds true, so many great games, yet so little time." I blame those darn sandboxes like Tropico, Civilization and Crusader kings for sucking me in or my backlog would be much smaller and i would find more gems like "Life is Strange and "gone home" to go along with the awesome AAA games like "Mass Effect" and "Dragon age, " or my latest fav "Dungeon of Nahuelbeuk" and the anticipation of "Lamplighters" Good are to be had.

I found this game as a demo during the steam summer demo event and was basically the only demo i played. I just love it. It has lots of options for building characters. They are all fun and well written and the skills/powers are very cool. Combo's are also part of the fun. Setting up an attack of opportunity and using a Knockback and watch 2-3 characters start swinging at the target. Good times!

Even melee characters have lots to do other than just fight which is nice with overwatch, sneaking, flanking, attacks of opportunity(an attack triggered by someone leaving a square you have controlled) The cartoon graphic and the way the outfits add little tweaks as you get better items is very well done.

The voice acting is solid, even if the elf can be bothersome but in the end she grew on me. Besides Felicia Day plays the wizard and i am a huge fan of hers. If your a fan of Baldur's gate and turned based you might really enjoy this very campy dungeon crawler. It's very much near the top of my list when it comes to Isometric RPG's

After playing through the game i must say it was very much worth the ride. I'd put it right up there with the best RPG's i've ever played. The game is simply fantastic.

@edit Post 1.1

the game has cleaned up most of the early bugs. Tthe game is much more stable and chances of getting stuck are small as of 1.1 are small. The save system has also seen a huge overhaul. Over all the game is polishing up nicely from suggestions and issues when the game launched are fixed and addressed. I am also finding the combat a lot deeper than i once thought. The overwatch and attack of opportunity along with crowd control and taunts really make for fun puzzles to play out during the combat.

I hope this game catches on with other turnbased and RPG fans. This game is a total gem and i'd love to see more from them. It's nice to see new dev's make a great game and bring in direct feedback into the game.

Btw a couple tips.

The game has a set random seed, that means all the rolls are pre-rolled. If you reload you get the same seed. If you want a different seed you must click a check box in options, that will give you a new seed on every reload. The game was meant to keep the same seed, meaning it was not a game a chance, and instead changing your strat, but as you can see people in many reviews will say the game is "rigged"

The game also uses a dice roller that likes to swing for the fences. In other words it's a big hit, or a big miss. The good news the game has a thing called Randomia. Basically every time you crit miss, or miss bad it fills a power bar that lets you trigger really helpful things, like healing, or attacking a second time. It really adds to the complexity of the game and makes all those misses sometimes very helpful. To hit is capped at 95% no mater what display says, higher helps protect against debuffs. There is always a 3% crit fail chance, and Dodge/parry roll after your attack roll.

Hah, that's kinda funny, My friend just sent me a text message this morning how he spent the weekend playing on an SWG server. Maybe it's time to check it out!

Hey! You don't know me, but your comments were open. I know this is weirdly out of nowhere, but I was reading about Black Desert Online and came across some posts from you 3 years ago. Just wanted to say, if you haven't heard about it yet maybe check out SWG Restoration? It has content from the NGE and the combat is supposedly like the CU. Have a good one!
