Briefly, great and art and some of the puzzles were fun. The music was really, really good and suited the scenes well. You can save the tracks by checking out the Extras menu. There's variety in the hidden object scenes - search by words, silhouettes and at times you solve an in scene puzzle to collect the object.

Did skip some of the mini games - like the boss battle at the end - the secondary characters kept talking - couldn't concentrate to figure out how to fight the boss. Occasionally, a hidden object was mislabelled. Or else I need to look at a lot more spinning wheels.

Missed 3 achievments, but not sure I'd play this one again right away. That bell puzzle was especially GRR for me. All in all, good game. Reasonable length and a great gift from my friend. Cheers.

Massive amount of content. I prefer playing the standard classic games, but story mode unlocks more styles. The extras quest line for balloons etc, requires playing 6 different styles, skippable with Joker cards, altogether too long for me. Still, for some Free Cell, Klondike and familiar styles of Solitaire/Patience, this will keep you entertained for weeks.

Enjoyable HOG with my main complaint being with the puzzles. Some were too tedious for my liking and lacked a replay/reset button. There was a lot of backtracking using the map, but it worked. If there was a way to get out of certain areas otherwise, I missed that. Fun for the short play time. Cheers.

Quick experience. Took me 27 minutes to complete the Easy, Normal and Hard Levels to get those achievements. The last achievement requires you to play the game for an hour. Perhaps sometime, when I just want a break from intense thinking.

The best thing about this game is the bright backgrounds - objects are easy to find and nothing is hidden behind something else. The idea of places the objects you have to find into a container, a basket for example is nice. However, I see no reason to put your keys into the garbage bag in the kitchen. Unless they're your ex's keys. Moving on!

There's no deep story - just a woman organizing the same rooms over and over again, until you beat hard mode. After that, you get a Restart button - that's it. Objects are always in the same place, so unless you want the last achievement, there's no reason to keep going.

I can't recommend this one, other than for small children and even then, at least one word: thermometer was spelled incorrectly. Still! Not complaining: I wanted to finish a game today, and I did - almost. Cheers.

I'm not a regular platformer player so I found this one challenging. The jump mechanic was a little odd as sometimes you land on the very edge of a platform or step above you. Also, I'm not sure what the headband you eventually earn has any effect or is just for making your creature cuter.

Positives; colourful, cute characters, diverse levels, at least one very easy level, pleasant music and enemies that are one hit KO, easy achievements.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥: wonky camera if you fall off the 'wrong' side of a level and odd zooming at times; you sometimes 'slide' when you jump and not only on the icy level.

If you're nervous about narrow walkways and high places, either don't play or never look down. Cheers.

PS: Don't let Woodle Tree stand under elevators - doesn't end well.

Very light, short game with beautiful graphics and smooth story flow. Clicking the random Cheshire Cat smile in hidden objects scenes, for instance, would give you history snippets about Lewis Carroll and Alice in Wonderland. The puzzles weren't overly easy, but not at all hard. It included only one Spot the Difference scene.

Only thing to look out for is some objects being oddly coloured, say, a mouse that's actually green. Other times, you're looking for an outline or silhouette rather than a solid item. However, nothing is ever barely visible and you use the scroll wheel to zoom in as well - very useful.

Definitely worth the price and a solid little game worth a replay after a while away.

A beautiful and enchanting game divided up into 5 chapters. It requires a lot of reading, logical thinking and generally will more than a few hours to complete. No direct NPC interaction, but you're too curious about what's going on in Ty Pyderi to get lonely and soon enough, you're not truly alone in the house.

Loved:
. Graphics: ghostly animations, ocassional jump scares; beautiful trees, old and new architecture
. Sound: good voice overs when necessary, excellent sound effects
. Story: deep but cohesive, with clues hidden in the text of books, papers, etc
. Mechanics: objects easy to select and mostly easy to figure out how and where to use
. Map: click a place already opened/visited on the map and teleport there
. Humour: there were hippies living there as squatters before, growing their own plants. Let's stop there.
. Ending: Definite conclusion and happy to boot! ^_^

Challenging:
. Navigation: The directional cursor is literally like walking - step forward, look left or right, possibly up or down. Reading the help menu in game helps somewhat. It's was dizzying in some places, like the Terminus.
. Memory: There are some cases where it's best to write down things, to avoid jumping back and forth for info., like the elements which cover the horoscope signs.
. Notebook cues: You're not necessarily completing tasks in the order they appear here.
. Items: The symbol is the key! You may have to think quite literally to figure out what you need. There are different kinds of 'fountains', for instance.
. Focus: Seriously, read all the things!

Cons:
. Text: Some of the handwriting scripts were kind of 'scratchy' and bit too small as well. Same goes for a few of the typewritten ones.
. Item Glitch: In one case, my puzzle items clean disappeared when used incorrectly. Another players says that if you had saved, they don't come back. Advise saving before trying these 'matching puzzles'.

Pure adventure games are very challenging for me, as I'm accustomed to the hand holding that comes with HOGs. Admittedly, I needed walkthrough help to get unstuck at times. This game was a learning curve going along, but it was fun, intriguing, well planned, storied and executed. Aside from the few drawbacks, I'd replay this again some day.
