Broken people held at gunpoint by trauma, abuse and neglect, brought up in a home made of already shattered glass.

The dialogue can be uncomfortable to read through in the right ways befitting the 'Dark' tag, yet flirts with humour and showcases subtlety in the differences between the two main characters.

Pushing aside the reductive memes of one of the games choices it's actually quite a decent story, though not something you're buying for the gameplay.

now that 1.0 has been released, and i've beaten the game, i can say that this game gets a thumbs up yes
