Compared to the previous historical total war games, I must say the campaign map is very good with the character system and such. However in battle this game i feel is inferior to other historical total war games as i find the art style (although very pretty) makes it very hard to really tell what is happening from a strategic viewpoint.
I find on romance mode the balance of lord is very skewed with melee lords being far stronger. A problem i find is that in the Warhammer total wars non melee lords are usually supplemented with magic or a bow etc but in three kingdoms there is no magic (for obvious reasons) and even with a bow equipped I found that characters run out of ammo almost straight away and are then highly mobile dead weights.
Another issue with the battles is that i find that units feel eh and that they don't feel very unique which i feel isn't helped but the unit cards looking very similar.

In summary I really do like the diplomacy and the character system and feel like the whole campagin aspect is far better than past historical and the warhammer total wars i feel like the battles and units are sub par and for me personally i feel that the battles of three kingdoms ruin the rest of it because unless u can auto-resolve more or less everything u will at some point have to go thru the pain of manual battles which in previous games i would take great pleasure in doing.

When playing with friends, its like playing Das boot.

The matchmaking is buggered. I had this game when it came out and have recently came back to it and found they added alot however they have removed all forms of balance whatsoever. Unless you want to die repeatedly to people who have max level weapons then dont waste the time required to download.

THE most fufilling game ever no matter who you are this is a great game and it has a quick downlaod time and it brings out the question is there a god?

A very good game because u can micro manage everything but it may be lagy in multiplayer and the graghics are brilliant.

its a good game the classes are cool but the leveling system is a bit dodgey it takes ages to lvl up one lvl and i wish there were more ships or more things to cutimize but altogether good game
