Still the best out of the two and with most of the best mods still working, will happily sink more hours into it.

Great game, one of the best I've played in this genre. Such a shame this is no longer being developed, so much detail and thought has gone into this. There are a few mods that do enhance this game and you will get hundreds of hours playtime. Buy it.

Could be a nice game but riddled with performance issues and I've listed the most common ones I've encountered in my 14 hours of trying to play this broken game.
Save game menu will be greyed out, meaning you'll have to quit and re-start game.
Map menus will only load sometimes, good luck in trying to find out where you need to go.
Frequent freezes with CTD's.
Audio will often not work, so no character voices, completely ruins game immersion.
DO NOT BUY.

Really enjoying this game though the controls do take a little getting used to. Good mix of combat and open world play building up your fleets etc. If you're looking for a good space game then give this a go, two thumbs up.

I feel like I've only scrateched the surface with this game. It's got a great mixture of just about every genre I look for and does it well. It takes even the mundane tasks such as ore mining seem exciting, you never know when a group of dust bandits or starving bandits or worse will decide to come and attack you.
It's simply an amazing game amd worth every cent even at full price and though it's in still in late stage beta I haven't encountered one single bug.
With the added content from mods already available, this game is a must from anyone that enjoys playing RPG, base building, exploration, squad tactics and survival gene games.
Buy and support a truly innovative game and developer.

Not having played the first 2 I wasn't sure what to expect but I certainly wasn't disappointed in the latest game. A huge amount of things to do and with over 700 monsters to find/create you'll be kept busy for hours. A very nice game and highly recommended.

A very good game with an amazing amount of freedom to do what you want. Highly recommend this game and the devs are constantly updating/bug fixing. Huge thums up.

Now that I've sunk a few hours into this game I think I'll add my two cents worth. Put simply, a great game and is already up there with my top titles.
I've so far enjoyed every minute, from roaming the countryside fighting bandits to just idly sittlng down reading a book with a cup of ale. This game has everything I look for, huge open world, great story with an intersting combat system and character development, I've no doubt this will be amonst my best 2018 purchases.
It does have some negatives, lots of bugs, some minor and some unfortunately not so minor, but I expect most of these will be fixed with the imminent patch coming our way. It also has a horrible save system (what were they thinking) but that is easily resolved with a little mod, which brings me to my next point...this game is going to be modded massively, which will only add to this great title.
All in all, a huge thumbs up and a must have for anyone interested in this genre or just great games in general.

Great little DLC, really good for testing and levelling different characters in preperation for the main game.
