The Complex

The Complex is by developer's Wales Interactive, Good Gate Media, Little Jade Productions and filmed in the UK. Also featuring guest acting performance by Twitch streamer and former Xbox UK presenter, Leah Viathan.

This is a story rich adventure FMV game where choices matter. Most playthroughs for each game are roughly about an hour long with one much shorter. Be forewarned: U do have to make quick, tough decisions/judgement calls that matter and alter the progression of the game depending on your choices. The Pause Choices (timer) can be turned off in the Streaming Options. This was mainly for Streamers with audience participation during live streams. I left my timers on.

Starts out with our 2 main scientists, Dr Amy Tenant & Dr Rees Wakefield in Kindar testing Nanocell technology unaware that the Kindar government had released a major biochemical attack on the villages recently. 5 years later Amy is working in London and giving a presentation to continue getting funding for their research when Clare, (later we find out is one of her techs) gets sick on a train. Someone releases the video online which has rumors flying wondering if it's some kind of attack. Rees rejoins her and the staff to help figure out how to treat Clare and keep things contained within The Complex while in "locked down" mode. All the while someone is trying to break through the high tech security. I will stop here so I won't spoil the game.

Features:

Real-time Relationship Status Tracking: Depending on your choices u will either strengthen or weaken your relationship with those u come in contact with and are scored at the end of each game.

Real-time Personality Status Tracting: Your decisions and interactions, your character's personality is tracted. U have 5 basic personality types; Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism.

Final Thoughts:

Price is reasonable and interesting enough to replay and get all the endings. I really enjoyed playing this fantastic Sci-Fi Thriller and have gotten ALL 9 endings. One of them is a "Secret" ending. Yes I enjoyed it that much and didn't encounter any issues playing!

Also Wales Interactive has more FMV games for your enjoyment. I'm gonna play all of them.

Home Safety Hotline is an analog horror inspired telephone operator simulator. Your job is to figure out incoming callers questions about what's going on inside their home. Navigate through a growing catalog of common pests and strange household hazards. Trying your best to become an expert in home safety. Remember, you will be held responsible for what happens. Correctly deduce what's in your callers homes or else leave them to suffer the consequences. Learn about the various untold horrors that live inside your home. "Phobia Toggles" - An accessibility option that allows you to disable in-game images for common phobia triggers including arachnophobia and more. How thoughtful of the developers to include that! Listen to original jazzy lo-fi music by David Johnsen while you place callers on hold. Also includes an unlockable Art Book detailing the game's interesting development history.

You get a call from strangers, listen to them, read some descriptions, and try to determine the best possible answer. If you successfully identify what is plaguing the household they get to live! If you don't well...Beep, next caller. Starts out easy with common household issues like mice, black mold, etc. But as you progress later into the week more strange and mysterious issues come about. Story with a sense of incoming doom. Short game with only 2-3 hours of playtime.

My reward for getting 100% correct for the day. Everyday that you get 100%, you will get some kind of coupon for a strange item.

Final Thoughts:
Interesting and unusually weird calls. It's up to you to figure out correctly what the solution should be. Then send the info to the client. Be careful what you chose because if you are incorrect a few times you WILL get fired. I got fired on Wednesday, a few different times. I found this entertaining and wanting to see what other bizarre things would come up. Can be a bit on the pricey side for a few hours of gameplay but I feel it's worth it for what you do get. Or you can add it to your wish list and pick it up on sale.
