Tekken 8 still contains the Tekken DNA that makes it such a complex and life-long climb to comprehend and play, and is graphically one of the most beautiful i've come across. However the newly introduced changes to the Tekken DNA, that came with this title, makes the gameplay feel frustrating and suffocating with it's focus on rush-down aggression. I would give it a mixed rating if there was a choice.

I got into Blasphemous first and foremost for its art and presentation, which held up great throughout the game. The world is large and divided into different zones. With a distinct touch to different areas, some are far less useful even during the first trip through, and have no use on the late-game which is bound to happen.

Unlike it's souls games influence the enemies are nowhere near as big of a deal. With precise platforming supervised by spike traps being the cause of most of my deaths. The best way of describing the collectaphon in the game is that it doesn't overstay its welcome. With me getting everything there is in the 20 hour mark. The final boss fight is spectacular but far too easy, the true final challenge was the encounter right before, due to some cheesy chain attacks straight from tekken.

This bad boy has a full course dinner of confusion served within its very gameplay in natural and comedic ways. As i grew older I came to dislike the cosmetic that began to be more and more ridiculous and common place. The simplicity in the art style provides for great visibility to support some of the best gun-play ever created.
