I have played this game for a while now. I have been asked what I think about it on more than one occasion by my friend. So I will put my thoughts of it here. I've played this game since 2018 or maybe even earlier.

-Balance: Is the game balanced? Hell no. There are some glaring issues regarding loadout card and champion balances and changes. Hi-rez loves to unnecessarily nerf anything to the ground that they can get their hands on and then call it "balanced". Just the ugly truth at the moment. Sometimes in a blue moon they will buff something though.

-Fun factor: The game can be fun believe it or not. I still play it at the moment. There are a lot of champions you can choose from. Some feel like you are dragging your coconuts across tar when are playing them though due to the recent balance changes. Others feel decent and decent to play.

-Player experience: I will warn you right now: Paladins has some of the DUMBEST European human beings I have ever played with across almost any game except DOTA. Even when I when I know I am playing like garbage and trying to learn a champion I hardly ever play; I still feel like I have to carry my team which sucks. Sometimes however you are lucky enough to get a decent team and then you are fine. Game is fun. I would say the player experience is...a mixed bag of sorts.

Performance and optimization: This game is not optimized. I have a 1080 and an i5 3.4Ghz with 16GB of RAM. To get decent FPS I have to set almost all of the in-game settings to low and then I had to go into the game files themselves to manually disable settings that are STILL enabled like anti-aliasing for some reason. Hi-rez still haven't done anything about this for years.

Art style and skins: Love it. Some champion skins are hot garbage. Others are pretty damn good. Too bad a lot of them are locked behind a paywall and a battlepass.

That pretty much sums up my review of this game. It's a game that is decent but has its glaring issues because of possible laziness and greed from hi-rez. I wouldn't outright say you shouldn't play this game and neither would I wholeheartedly recommend it to people. I would say that it is personally up to you wether you want to try it or not. Try it if you think you would like it.

This is honestly the best game I have ever played. Is it is worth it? YES! WORTH EVERY PENNY! The storyline is rich and heartfelt. It also in some aspects speaks to realities of human society. I'm not going to spoil that. I highly reccomend anyone who isn't even into RPGs should get this. I personally am not an RPG fan but boy is this game one of my new favourites.

Don't not buy the game because of the fanbase. Buy it because your'e not just getting a game. You are getting an experience and a very memorable one at that.

It is an amazing game.
The dark humor ivolved with you just charging in and butchering your enemies in a blood bath, with funny battle cries and so on and so on is just hilarious! Despite the flaws it has with a few bugs and sometimes the community. It is still my favourite game today. The characters, cosmetics and weapons. Would highly reccommend if you into shooters with a decent skill ceiling and want to have some laughs along the way.
