Did you know that I really really really really really really dislike commies?
Amazing game. Protect Taiwan.

This game is quite amazing. Exactly the right kind of hard. Fantastically complex puzzle elements. I particulalrly like the heat-depended bombs.
Could be a kind of holy trinity of ultra-puzzlers with Baba and SSR if the devs make some super-hard gauntlets of puzzles and/or allow users to make their own with these great mechanics and block types.
Amazing game, I never stopped having a blast.

Will change this to positive once rebinding is added. Missing fingers on the right hand makes arrows a no go and though WASD works that puts all of the game's controls on 1 hand. I like to use numpad buttons for jump and other actions.

Edit: I saw the patch notes and got excited but alas I misunderstood: Billy has not added REbinding for the numpad, he has simply applied some of the games actions to the some of the numpad buttons that he chose. Worse: the control screen does not even feature the numpad on it and tell you what key does what. You have to experiment. This most certainly is not of any use to me as what he chose is not friendly to my right hand. What many of us wanted was actual rebinding.

Though I should provide context: using my own rebind method I have already 100%ed the game and I must say: it is a masterpiece. It's so good I hesitate to let this stand as a Do Not Recommend. Unfortunately I must as the method I must employ is quite irritating and asking laymen to figure out xmodmap (steamdeck) or autohotkey (windows) will be quite vexing.
To any keyboard hardliners who find the default scheme unusable and do not wish to rebind their keyboard themselves: I recommend you either wait to play this game or drop the hardline stance and pick up controller.
(For what it's worth my mind has been changed about controllers for this game: the presence of the Flute item has convinced me a stick would serve playing it better. Playing it with WASD didn't feel great. I shall be converting to controller for all future playthroughs and I recommend other keyboard hardliners do the same.)

Once rebinding is truly added I shall scrap all of this save the point about the Flute and gush about what a utter masterpiece this game is.

How the hell is the "Unlock All Achievements" achievement the 3rd most common achievement?

You can consider this to be a thumbs up but with a couple caveats.
This game is great, well made, super addicting, and I approve of this flavor of RNG. But I'm A. finding non-pipe levels significantly less fun (though still fun) and B. irked with the over circular fruits or heads-of-animals level design. Mostly because they don't allow the aforementioned pipe mechanic to shine very much (other than the circular levels with pieces missing in the middle of course.)
I kind of wish bridges functioned just like pipes do over open air, just exclusive to water.
I'm sure user created levels will solve this issue for me. I won't be downloading any levels with only bridges.

I've been waiting for a game like this. Finally something to scratch that Stephen's Sausage Roll/Baba itch! This game had phenomenal mechanics and meta puzzles. Top 5 puzzle games of all time for sure.
The only bad point is the hint system. I heavily disapprove of a puzzle game on this level having any hint system at all. Period. And [Gain Insight] pretty much spells out the solution for you. Great puzzlers are supposed to be a bit frustrating until that great epiphany hits. I screwed myself out of a few of those moments in the midgame by not abstaining from the temptation until I finally wised up and made myself a DON'T TOUCH IT rule. To my credit I didn't use it a single time on a secret world level.

~!!Advice to all that play this: TRY not to use it. Abstain. Even a glance at [Gain Insight] is enough to ruin a puzzle for you!!~
If a given puzzle is too hard for you: you either aren't smart enough or aren't BEING smart enough in the moment. Quit and come back later. If 100% is that important to you BUT you just can't manage a puzzle: steam guides and youtube exist. In fact you can inch through a video and stop when you think you're about to hit too much information.

Devs: I would heavily recommend a prompt to make a new save lock you out of the insight mechanic every time you start one. It's too heavy handed. Some of us get frustrated and can't resist the temptation to look then IMMEDIATELY regret it.

[This thumbs down is for visibility!]
(Fortune's Foundation is my crack. Love it.)
But I'm very irate that whenever I have to kill the process on my phone, or shutdown my computer: current games aren't saved and I lose the sick FF tableau I had going.
Please devs: GIMMIE.

This game is not worth $15. $5 would be more appropriate. Though it'd still get a negative review. If it had triple the content, used the family mechanic more, and was $10: THAT would get it a positive review.
