Day 79

All is good. Economy doing well. Successfully annihilated the previous horde with only half my army. I think my boys deserve a break. Hell, I might play some music and relax. I put my feet up, and play "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper, a wonderful tune. I think even my soldiers are dancing to it. A muffled voice hidden behind the music says "Your colony is succumbing to the infection". My face dropped, it was the western wall. Only one lone archer there, she dies. My whole army is on the eastern wall, my fat snipers too slow to get there. It spreads, my command centre is seen through the haze and smoke. I am panicking at this point, can't even find the pause music button. So, on day 79, with "Girls Just Want to have Fun" echoing through my empty heart, all was lost.
