Said I should uninstall so I did. Hope the "hardcore" nerds who've given up relationships and time with their family/friends enjoy their life ruiner simulator.
Mind you, I've been doing just fine and haven't ever died yet, they were just trashing random people in chat. And I can't be a part of that lmao. If they really want no one to play, then we won't. They can flex their e-peen achievements to nobody once the game dies out like the first one.

The anti-cheat is no more invasive than Apex Legends (Easy anti-cheat) Or Valorants in house anti-cheat from Riot. Anti-cheats have been operating at Kernel level for a few years already at this point. And that also includes all the previous ones that have existed.
It's an irrelevant review. The fact this still needs to be explained is tragic. Also, your information has been obtained and sold 100x already, I promise this game taking it, even if it was, is not going to change anything in a major way. If you are on social media, you've almost 100% lost all your data long ago.
The people who DON'T lose data, typically run games or things in general in a sandbox VM and use Linux to avoid majority of these issues. And if the game doesn't work under those situations, they simply don't play.
YOU DO NOT need to play games to live your life. And if you aren't taking your internet data as seriously as the things I mentioned above, then this games anti-cheat is THE LEAST of your worries.

No idea why this game had so much hype...It has SO many flaws in comparison to the 100 hero shooters that already exist. And some of them are really bad.
Aside from the performance not being great and constant stutters, you can barely tell when you are being hit. The feedback you receive might as well not exist. I constantly die without realizing I was ever even being hit or low to begin with.
In Overwatch you FEEL when you get hit, it's very clear and obvious. Doesn't help that the UI is also pretty ♥♥♥♥ for a hero shooter. The way it's laid out and functions is pretty awful.
People were so excited for THIS, if I had the chance to play the Beta I wouldn't even have thought about trying this on full launch. The visuals are pretty ♥♥♥♥, the combat does NOT feel anywhere near as good as something like Overwatch, jumping feels pretty floaty, and just the general moment to moment game play just doesn't help much weight.
Being in FPS game in todays market, you REALLY need to do better. Xdefiant just shut down, this won't be long before the same fate comes. Too many companies pushing out these slop FPS games with no actual care behind them.

Such an awesome game...Shame that the DLC's were mediocre and that now it's over.

It's a mobile game. Maybe not yet, but within the year it'll 100% be on Mobile.
How do I know? Because it's a LITERAL copy paste of the like 10 other BR's that operate EXACTLY like this one does. Granted they've added a bit more to the itemization and map on this version compared to most of the mobile ones, but a slightly more polished turd is still a turd.
Best part is the mobile port won't be separate, so you'll have mobile teammates soon in the future. Which has historically gone well.
It's still a great time waster if your on a time crunch or on the go, but if you are home sitting in front of an actual PC, there are so many better options for your moba fix. All way better balanced, more polished, and much larger player bases for much better matchmaking. It is in early access so things will likely get better/change over time, but like I said it's 1000% going to mobile (not sure if they've mentioned that or not yet) games identical to this already exist on that market, and with how basic the UI is, this is very clearly going to get ported which means mobile teammates.
I just don't see enough new stuff here or anything that different from games that already exist. It's a different MOBA then people are used to typically, but it's still not new. If you've played mobas on mobile, you've likely played TONS of them with this same BR aspect and upgrades.

Needs more bosses.
Needs more end game variety, currently if you want to play the harder difficulties you'll be abusing range or alter attack iframes non-stop. No matter the build, that's how you'll play it. So whether they need to add more weapons/perks etc. or just being able to spam alter attacks. They should come with increasing cool downs especially if used back to back. You won't have this issue much on the standard difficulty, but anything beyond that you'll start to realize you have to play it a very strict way in order to really do well.
The biggest negative I have about the game is the sudden death mechanic and the upgrade system genuinely doesn't add enough. Most upgrades are actually downgrades because it dilutes your loot pool. And it's lacking more story related/side upgrades for the hub world.

Boy is becoming more man.

It's been FIVE whole years.
And for the past 1-2 we've received exactly ZERO communication on Silksong.
This is absolutely unacceptable. There are people who've died waiting with literally zero news on if it'll ever even exist.
I myself am relatively sick and had some health struggles and I would really like to just know if Silksong even actually exists. I was convinced there is NO WAY they can go 5 years without even some deeper information or a date...
I understand things happen, especially on a small team, but the no communication is absolutely a slap in the face.
And honestly no matter what, at this point Silksong WILL fail. No matter how good it is, it'll never be 5-6 years of waiting good. They've trapped themselves into a situation where the game is almost guaranteed to fail unless it is literally the best thing to exist. Very few people are going to think waiting this long as actually worth it regardless of how good it might be.
The longer it takes, the higher odds of failure. Because it can still be an absolute banger, but was it worth all the waiting time? At this point it might honestly be better to cancel it all together and skip the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and finally just let us all rest man.
No one is asking for a date or solid information. We want to know it's being worked on and somewhat of a timeline. Even if that means saying it'll be next year. Just give us FOR ONCE some concrete information man...This is literally the worst way of handling things as developers.
