Well, it's what it says, it simulates multiple thought experiments, with a few unique twists. If you buy it, you'll get what you expect.

Don't worry about having to play the rest of the series to understand the game, I've played them all and still don't understand any of it.

For a game designed to trick your friends, there is a good amount of stuff you can do singleplayer. I suggest letting people forget you have it before mentioning it to them.
