Review Showcase
I've only been playing this game with 3 of my friends, so my entire review will be based on the co-op aspect of the game.

Gameplay: The guns are simplistic and you can modify them with a couple of modifications to give them slightly different stats. I really like how the guns feel and even though I only tend to use a few that I like, mostly assault rifle, I like that there are possibilities on what to use. In this game you cannot place turrets/traps wherever you want, you have to do it in designated spots in order to protect important objectives. I really like this since it makes you have to think strategically of where to put your objects and what object to place. Between waves and before the first wave, you pick-up coins and collectibles around the map, by use of jumping or building jumping pads around the map. I find this a great and engaging way to get coins for weapon upgrades/objects to place, and creates an interesting and enjoyable thing to do between waves when you're waiting for your slowpoke friends to get finished. Especially because just traversing the map itself is great fun, the maps are really well made.

Graphics: The game really makes you feel like a toy soldier in different environments, fighting off different kinds of toys or enemies that a typical toy soldier would face. Some maps, in particular the maps with heavy grass, can be a bit difficult to see enemies in. But this becomes less of a problem when you get used to the game and what to expect. Overall I'm not a huge graphicsperson, I tend to like whatever, but I really love the attention to detail in every single map. Each map has something unique that you can find, be it an object that looks similar to an object in real life but with different text, or something else.

Level design: This is where the game truly shines. Each map feels very different but they all look great and feel great to play on. There are multiple objects and secrets scattered around the map that you will have to traverse the map in order to find. This is not a problem since jumping and getting around in the game is a blast. Most of the collectibles are hidden in hard-to-get-to spots, we had a lot of fun trying to figure out how to get them as a group, or snagging them right before the eyes of a group member!

The developers seem great and they do listen to their community. I really like that and you can definitely tell that they really love making this game just by the attention to detail in it. All in all it's among the tower-defense/shooter games that I enjoy the most, especially with some friends.
