This DLC has a few pros and cons that people have been talking about when it comes to the new items and characters

Pros:
-Mods make for interesting gameplay depending on what you are into and make the game 20x more fun
-More content meaning more hours of gameplay
-Interesting new character concept (or rather item concept)

Cons:
-The new level of difficulty seems artificial at times ranging from actual difficult gameplay or straight up impossible to beat
-The new portal enemy needs a lower spawn rate
-Uninspired or boring items
-Greedier mode is bad

Most of the complaints follow a similar variation between the previous four

My Judgement: I like it because you can fool around with mods but I know some people have issues with the new mode and new enemies so heres what I have to say. If the dlc is on sale I think its a great idea to buy it just because of the mods and extra content. Some people might feel that this dlc isn't worth it, but I think that if you really like binding of isaac its worth the money.

This game is pretty darn cool if you like rougue-like style games. Going into the game you have about 4 characters to choose from each one starting with different items and weapons. The guns themselves all behave in wacky and crazy ways making the game even more entertaining. Homing, laser, rapid fire, high damage single shots they are all in the game in many varieties. You feel like a total badass when you knock over a table dodge every shot coming at you then kill every enemy in the room without getting a scratch on you. The characters you run into have interesting personas and information that you find about the gundgeon itself can be very interesting.

I'd have to give this game a 8/10 only because it lacks an online multiplayer which I feel rogue-likes should be moving towards nowadays. They have the system mostly in place with local but it really is a shame but otherwise its a pretty cool game.

Ok first of all risk of rain in terms of entertainment value is really high and the game itself is wonderful when its just you playing through the randomized campaign. The randomized items you get through out the world have and binding of isaac/ rpg feel to them. The game is pretty wierd at first but the more you play the more you get hooked into the whole world.

The reason I gave this game a negative review is because it lacked in the one area that I really hoped would've worked, the multiplayer. No lie I was pretty excited to find a rougue-like with an online multi-player system in the game becuase I was disappointed by many other popular rougue-like titles not really exploring the concept of online multiplayer (binding of isaac/ enter the gundgeon). This game is one of those port forward type multiplayers where supposedly you can use hamachi (an outside program) to connect with friends. After spending most of the day tryng to set up the multi-player to only have it not work makes the multi-player a frustrating experience.

If you don't want the game because of the multi-player, are great with porting forward your ip address, or want to test your luck with hamachi then by all means get it, it is a really great game . But until they do something about multi-player and making it easier to connect with friends for those who don't fit in the above description I would just pass.

Good game multiplayers an ass to set up nuff' said

Borderlands 2 my favorite game of all time and I still play it to this day, this game is definitely a keeper. I have to say if you're on the fence about whether or not to play this game i would simply just play it.

Pros
- 4 unique character classes+ 2 dlc classes that offer a variety of gameplay for anybody (melee, assassin, tank, healer, summoner, defense , etc.)
- hrs of gameplay and content (highly recommend getting the dlc for this game)
- Too much replayabilty (beaten the game like 17 times)
- A good way to make friends or strengthen bonds
- Bright and colorful cast that will keep you entertained and laughing till your sides hurt
- Great storylines and unforgettable moments that never lose value (seriously though I've played the game like 17 times and jokes I've heard too many times to count still make me laugh)

Cons
- sides hurting from all the laughter
- addicting gameplay
- So many weapons!
- not enough legendaries

I will address some of the actual issues that people have with the game such as the fact that the story gets stale after hearing it so many times, issues with the drop chances, and other petty whiny stuff honestly try the game and see a what I'm talking about.

You know what gets under my skin, no one seems to know what this game is, or more specifically how good it is. In case you were wondering this game is AMAZING and doesn't deserve the ghostly existence it has, even after all of this time. Let me go over a list of the pros and cons.

PROS
- Variety of gameplay (with tons of weapons and custimizations there is a variety of ways to take out your target (ex. the crossbow can allow one hit kills from a distance like a sniper rifle, can mind control an enemy so that he suicide bombs the other enemies behind cover, and can EXPLODE to do extra damage to enemies with heavy armor and such. However this is if you have the ammo for it))
- Brightly colored cast of characters (and trust me there are ALOT)
- Bullet realism ( every shot counts and you can tell when you land a hit)
- Overall enjoyment and entertainment (and really whats better than that)

CONS
- There isn't a solid storyline and it can get confusing at time to time
- The game is designed for consoles and you can tell especially when it comes to switching weapons which can be a major pain at times
- Some aspects with the graphics (random trees and some other objects just spawn in with the ugliest sprites at times.)

The cons aren't THAT big of an issue and using a controller is almost a necessity when dealing with the switching weapons which can be a bit crippling when your switching ammo types to match the enemy your facing and the mouse just takes too long to find and drag and etc. But I digress. This game is a most have for those who seek a bit of a challenge (and I don't mean with the pc controls) with a brightly colored cast and a variety of ways to play. Ignore what anyone has told you, this game is GOOD.

I definitely recommend getting this dlc with the one condition of getting it with the season pass and I know that might seem CRAZY to some of you, but the fact is Jack is a fun and playable charcter dont get me wrong. But he's not worth 10$ so if you could spring for the season pass it'd be better, honestly its good so far and Jack isn't hte only thing to look forward to it's already better than the second borderlands season pass seeing as to how it came with the extra characters. Besides 30$ is actually pretty good for a season pass compared to stuck up games like COD who offer their maps and a price of fifity dollars like buying one game for the price of two.

The game is NOT BAD but it IS frustrating as hell when they make you register through this incredibly flawed system where they can't even do the math 45+3, and there are too many limits as well. And even when you get into the game it still has ton of issues with the log in and way too many errors maybe not often but when I want to play i want to play. But other than that it has potential they really just need to fix their register systems. I'd wait to play until these guys can pull it together.
