"The 'Optimal' Gamer"
Friedrich Nietzsche, in his book "Thus Spoke Zarathustra", he poses the idea of "the übermench", a new type of man which would go beyond our current values and give meaning to life on earth. Soaring above any and all beliefs which attempt to oppose it, this type of man would allow us mere humans to ascent to a higher plane beyond our moral reach.

Aristotle speaks of the ability, within all humans, to unlock their potential. He says that humans are like the seeds of a tree, which given the right amount of light, water, and time, can rise higher than any other tree in the forest. Similarly, a poorly cultivated seed may never even sprout, or if it does, eventually wither and die. One must attempt to unlock their true potential, for anything else would be a waste of human life.

I speak of "the 'optimal' gamer", the idea of playing "optimally" to unlock the true potential hidden within the games we play. But what does it mean to be "optimal"? How can one achieve such a state of play? What does one factor in when attempting to analyze the word? The answer lies within the gameplay, one which I will go about showing and spreading, so that others can do the same. This is how we unlock our potential, this, is how we become übermench.

"Who go trade ideas when you can kill everyone?"

"Why build great library when you can build two new settlers?"

"Why play anything other than Bard?"
