Overall, a good MH game, but not as good as MHW. In short, it is similar to MHW but with worse graphics and faster gameplays. It is as fun as MHW, but not as replayable as MHW.

Pros:

✅Better combat system (better movements, and you can switch skills)
✅More movement options enabled by wire bugs (mostly vertically)
✅Faster gameplay (You only need to gather once at gathering points; You deal more damage, making hunts shorter; You travel faster with the dog/wirebugs)
✅Your character can speak now

Cons:

❌Worse graphics than MHW (The textures are fine, but it feels a bit off when compared with MHW. The UI is not optimized for larger screens, and the icons are blurry)
❌Unoptimized keybindings (Why can't I bind both "gather" and "special attack" to E? Also, the default setting isn't good either; it is very hard use the wire bug with the middle mouse button if you are in combat)
❌Lackluster maps (Smaller and less detailed then MHW)
❌Annoying small monsters (Initiate fights before you do; charges at you while you are in combat)
❌Nerfed bow armor sets that all bow builds need that one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ head piece with no deco slots and low def

In sum, it is a good game, and buy it if you like the MH series.
