Great visual, "interactive" novel. I enjoyed it immensely. It reminds me of Telltale a little bit - but the story is real and fleshed out. If you want to be brought into a world and see how your choices change the story, this game is for you. Great experience.

Want a game that spooks you but not scare you? Game is for you.

Want a game where you shoot and kill lots of ♥♥♥♥? Game is for you.

Want a game with a story you can't help but dig into and learn? Game is for you.

Want a game with a unique setting and environment unlike any other? Game is for you.

Have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ school laptop? The original game can run on an integrated intel i5 card in fullscreen! and with high texture settings!

It's a good game. I bought the entire series for 11.59 on a sale, and I'd say it was one of the best purchases I've made on here so far. Now, would you kindly try this game?

There are quite a few reviews here that explain how boring the DLC is and how people don't like it. I'd beg to differ. This DLC is like watching a series of short films or stories - you watch, and play through, a series of events that all occur around a truck stop in Georgia. The dialogue and the characters are interesting, and you get a neat glimpse into the world of TWD from a different point of view from the original "gang". If you got some spare cash you don't need to use to get lunch, buy this DLC!

All I can say is that if you refuse to hurt anyone - it'll be worth it.

Great game. Soundtrack is neat, and the story is simple, but engaging. Mechanics are great, except for weapons switching. A little wonky on that aspect. It's a wonderful game for someone looking for a shortish single player experience.

The AI cheats, getting extra points and knowing where your units are at all times. Paid DLC are the strongest nations to play, and the Red Dragons, the coalition the game is named after, is one of the weakest in the game. Despite this, Wargame Red Dragon is by far one of the best RTS games that I've ever played. It's good macro mixed with a little bit of micro skill, and even though the game is "busted" in some regards with certain mechanics that are easy to abuse, it's still an excellent, well designed game. Look at the players who stick around to play it. Those who know what they're talking about have 2000 hours or more. You'll see lots of negative reviews from nerds with 100 hours who get mad they can't beat the enemy team in a 10v10 - but if you want a game with a lively 1v1 competitive scene that can carry over into casual team games, all set in the Cold War going hot in Korea, this is a good game for you. If you're new and you're planning to pick it up, check out the wargame bootcamp discord server - which can be found on the wargame bootcamp subreddit.

NOTE, AS OF THE TIME I AM WRITING THIS CAPSLOCKED TEXT, ON 11/15/2020, THIS GAME'S MULTIPLAYER DOES NOT WORK FOR MAC OS PLAYERS. A GLITCH THAT ALLOWED INFANTRY TO TELEPORT ANYWHERE AROUND THE MAP WAS PATCHED, BUT THE DEVS ONLY PATCHED IT FOR WINDOWS. AS A RESULT, MAC PLAYERS CAN NOT NORMALLY PLAY WITH WINDOWS PLAYERS UNLESS THE WINDOWS PLAYERS ROLL BACK VERSIONS. WHY THEY DIDN'T DO IT FOR BOTH VERSIONS IS BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION, BUT WHAT THIS MEANS IS THAT IF YOU OWN THE GAME AND USE MAC OS, YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO PLAY AGAINST ai AND AGAINST OTHER MAC PLAYERS. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY THIS GAME, OWN A PC SO YOU CAN PLAY MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!

3/9/2022 Edit: With the South Africa Update, paid DLC nations have been heavily nerfed, allowing smaller coalitions like Red Dragons, Blue Dragons, CMW, and Eastern Bloc, to become much more viable in 1v1 games. After the SA balance patch update dropped, you can basically play any coalition for the most part and do pretty well, since no coalition or national deck has outright stupidly good units for the price anymore.

While this brought a fresh new point of view to TWOM, it isn't as fantastic as it could be. Very short, with little control over what happens. Not that this was bad, it was really entertaining to play. And the ending, oh boy, I was actually caught off guard with the ending. Very powerful. This DLC was a step in the right direction, but I recommend to 11 Bit to make the rest of the stories have a bit more of variety and control available to the player, to at least give the player the illusion of important choice making. This DLC is definitely worth the money, a new short story to give the player something to do in the TWOM universe. I hope the future stories are more in depth and as powerful as this one was.
