Beyond my Steam Library and various other PC games, I play a lot of old games on my retro consoles, handhelds, and of course various emulators. I have an extensive physical and digital game collection I am very proud of, but I frequently end up playing many of the same things I've been playing for the past 10, 15, even 20 years now. I make a living by building brand-new computers for people, troubleshooting/repairing old computers, and as of recently I have completed numerous game console custom firmware and hardware modifications for PlayStations 2 & 3, GameCubes, 3DSes, Wiis, and hopefully more in the future. All this to say: I am passionate about computing hardware of any kind and I try to appreciate the benefits of playing both nostalgic comfort games on my CRT TV as well as fresh, smooth experiences on my PC.
