My Manifesto
As a Wakfu player of about 8 years, it pains me to admit I'm not currently playing it, and do not intend to start again. This was a game I loved and largely because of the amazing community (which still exists) and the unique bond that comes from playing a support class. I am an Osa main, the class that once was the most complex and hardest to learn class, and now one of the simplest and least interesting. Osa was once a jack of all trades master of none class. With the ability to run full dps, tank builds, summoning balance builds, or full support (and most importantly, a pokemon master). Pre-Rework my favorite Osa build was full support. With Osa's unique "Dressage" stat forcing you to commit to a support build if you wanted to give out as many buffs as possible. Osa was able to buff almost any stat in the game, Lock, Dodge, Crit, AP, or even teleporting teammates around the map. (to name a few) Osa's support build was very unique among support characters in the game, Osa wasn't the strongest support class, but rather the most expressive and versatile one. Osa's buffs weren't the strongest, but Osa could give any teammate a uniquely tailored set of buffs. This ability to give (weak) buffs to any stat in the game, to help your teammates not by giving them huge stat buffs, but rather minute ones that added up to perfectly combo off your teammates builds. Osa's support build gave such a unique play experience that creates a bond between players. It encouraged understanding each others builds, and working together to maximized the effectiveness of your teammates. This unique play experience is what's kept be playing for 8 years, and its why I mained Osa for all 8 of those years. Modern Osa is an objectively stronger class, with better support abilities, without a single shred of what used to make Osa special. Osa is no longer a jack of all trades. Now Osa is a master of all trades, with very limited variation between builds and no room for creative sub classing into support vs tank vs damage builds. Osa now has some of the best damage in the game, amazing healing, good bulk, and support spells that give huge buffs that fit on every build. Osa's new support spells cost nothing more than their AP cost (apposed to how old Osa required you to have a specific build to use support spells), and they commit the cardinal sin of giving HUGE buffs to AP and damage (stats every class uses, with no room for creativity). New Osa is one of the best classes in the game, but effortlessly and without any of the nuances or room for the incredible levels of teamwork and comradery as Osa had been able to birth in the past. It is with great sadness that I say I do not plan to play Wakfu in the near future given the current state of the game as well as the one class that make it unique and so special to me for 8 years now.:bowmeow:

+rep. Even though you killed me in that knight match (I was the Nic) and I only got 5k blood points, it is a game at the end of the day, and I'm trying to get better, I took a break for too long and I'm really bad at the game rn, but seeing profiles like this of people who seem genuinely nice is always fun to see, even if the matches themselves are either bad or downright infuriating, it's nice to see a nice person, who I may not have had a great match going against, but seems nice non the less. Thank you for playing Dead by Daylight :)
