Apologies that this is not a true review, but i have to report a game breaking bug that was in 2.2.7 and i don't know if it was fixed (i looked through the patch notes and there no mention of it). Basically, for an unknown reason, the game's ability to properly reinforce fleets broke. I had 13k alloys and many missing ships from my fleet (42k worth of alloys or something). For whatever reason, i am unable to reinforce the fleets, it claim that i do not have enough alloys. Each time the month ticks over,i should and do get 2000 alloys (the counter in the GUI shows it increasing by about that much), but the game acts like it is only 300. It allows me to construct a corvette for 285 or so alloys and then goes back to saying that i cant afford to reinforce the fleet. The bug does not fix itself on reloading the save nor does it do so when restarting the game.
And I'm playing on ironman mode...

While this game is very fun, there is one issue that ruins it for me. For whatever reason, when I go into menus, such as the weapon select screen, I cannot actually see the entire screen. I know this because there are letters of words trailing off into bits of the screen that i cannot see. I believe this bug or whatever it is is constant, and does not go away out of these menus, it is just not as noticable in the main game. I have tried putting it in windowed mode, and changing the resolution, and it makes no significant difference. And this isn't a trivial bug either. It makes it nearly impossible to use the level editor, and i cannot select the laser sniper in the weapons select screen. It is so far off screen that I cannot move my mouse there. Is there a fix for this, or something i need to do to fix it? Has anyone else had this problem I need your help! Until this is fixed, I cannot enjoy the game as much as I could have.

I had a lot of fun playing dungeons 3, but there were some issues that I have to mention first. My first complaint, which is by far the biggest problem. No deathmatch in multiplayer. I dont know why they did this as it was the best thing about dungeons 2 multiplayer. As the game is less than a month old (at the time of writing), there is still hope that this will be changed. Still, it should have been in the game from launch. I personaly dont care if it doesnt make sense in context of the game, particularly as the multiplayer doesnt make sense in context either. I want this changed as it has so much potential with the new units and traps. It will be hard to achieve in game, and it will be slower than the current multiplayer matches, but they should do it anyway. In order to balance themultiplayer in a deathmatch, the dungeonheart should have lower health, and this health should vary on the game length setting (so something really low like 100 for short games, 1000 for default length and 2000 for long games). The traps might also need to be a bit weaker (or they could add a trap resistance stat for multiplayer only).Oh and no regen on the dungeonheart (in deathmatch if it became a thing). This would make the game so much better. Thank you for adding this in

Some other issues I had were the new UI, though thats not the devs fault, it just took a lot of getting used to, and there wasn't enough indication that spells can be charged even though that is a very important thing to know. I wont deny it, some of the voice acting was a bit ... odd, though it doesnt alone justify a negative review. Also, why can't pack creatures train in the arena. That was a little bit annoying as it slows down them leveling up

However, despite the flaws, I still enjoyed the game. The story was intresting, and it was quite funny how the typical good and evil steriotypes were kind of flipped on their heads a bit. The narrator Kevan Brighting was back (he's the guy in the stanley parable) and the interactions between him and some of the other characters were pretty funny, particularly as he is the narrator, and not suposed to take sides or really be present in the story. Some of the best examples are in the 3rd and 4th levels but i'm not going to spoil what happens. But the best improvements were in the gameplay, as the 3 factions from the previous game are now united, and work together, such as the magic toolboxes. The toolboxes are made by the horde, the mana s made by the demons, and then the undead combine the two. And it is so worth it to get magic traps, doors and work stations. Too bad it gets unlocked in the 15th level (15th of 20). Its a shame that you dont get all the unlocks until the 17th level.

But over all, the game is much better. Aside from the aforementioned lack of deathmatch (plz change) I really liked this game and it was much better than dungeons 2. Now, I'd be intrested if there will be a part 4 (or 3 because the first dungeons from Kalypso doesnt really count). Provided that they can keep doing the amazing story mode, great gameplay and of course the narrator (it wouldnt be the same without him), I want to see more.

So, xcom 2, it is brutally hard. Even on rookie, i barely escaped my last operation, operation spider breaker. It may not have brocken any spiders, but it broke my squad. It started out well enough, but then, a stun lancer came and knocked out my maxed out psi operative. And i had no way of rectifying this. I couldnt leave her, so i carried her with my sniper who would have been of limited use anyway. When my psi op was knocked out, one of my other 3 (i think i rely on them too much) panicked, ran, and threw a grenade at a group of civilians and hit them selves in the process. Later, another one of my psi ops was crit by an archon and panicked. Then a codex used that damn psi bomb ability and, the next turn, my panicked psi op couldnt escape with her 1 health, and died. Then i rescued my mission objective. Next i found that reinforcements were dropping on my evac point and there was a pod with a sectopod in it right next to it as well. With my lowered capabilites, i could not deal with the sectopod for long and im surpriesed i got anyone out. My sniper and unconcious psi op (and the only psi op to do so) got out, but the enemy reinforcements included a stun lancer. The stun lancer then proceded to kill one of my last 2 psi operatives (this is the one that murdered civilians while panicked), so i had 2 troops to deal with a SECTOPOD. The enemy went on mass overwatch, and my psi op was 2 action points (1 turn) away from freedom, but only had 1 health exactly. My other troop was fine because she had shadowstep and RNGesus's blessing, but on the last turn to escape, my psi operative was caught by reaction fire, and, while she had the sustain ability that meant she survived, she had lost her turn, so she was captured by the enemy. Oh and the objective had been killed 2 turns earlier. My biggest fail.

But, to be honest, I'm not too mad. The game is fun enough for me to keep playing anyway, so its all good. There is enough ways to avoid chance all together for it not to be a complete luck-fest/RNGesus's curse. I would recommend the game if you are a) calm b) machosistic or c) a priest of RNGesus. These are all helpful if you want to enjoy the game. Or you can save scum...

(Edit here: plz plz plz change the death system. I dont want to lose usage of the sword if I lose my right arm. That has been the cause of so many deaths. Plz change it. I understand it for the hammer but not for the sword)

This game is awesome, but it is really hard. Like REALLY hard. Even the easiest enemies in the game can pose a threat if they get past your defenses i.e. you make a mistake. But when you get far enough, you feel rewarded in the awesome upgrades. I do have suggestions to make the game better(yes i know you can give feedback and suggest stuff that way but im doing this anyway). Make a lizard-tron that can use a grappling tongue and if it gets you, you are pulled in very fast and it can chew you up. It also would have a giant energy sword as a tail.

This game is awesome but quite hard. Extreme difficulty is extreme and even some challege has difficulty that has forced me to reload my game when things have gone disastorusly wrong. So for my first game I made a custom senario that was very easy and played on randy random some challenge. Constant issues that were fair and seemed fair forced me to reload several times. But this game is full of content that can allow you to make stories from just playing the game and not even roleplaying. You could have a colony that is horrible to prisoners, harvests organs from them then butchers their bodies and turn their meat into kibble and skin into leather beds for animals. Though there are some oversights in the game such as one example where i have a fully bionic person (arms, legs and eyes) and they get mucle parasites and it reduces their walking abilty and manipulation. How does that make sence? Also you should be able to put animals in criptosleep caskets. One last thing is that colonists shouldn't die instantly if they lose their liver. In real life you can survive several hours without a liver giving time for a transplant to save their life and the same aplies for kidneys. overall this is a game worth the £23 to buy. And if you dont beleive me then read the other reveiws that may or may not have explained it better than me.

But here is the sad story of the unamed iguana. My colonist Yankee was hunting with a minigun, and I noticed that there was an animal corpse killed by a cougar. My food! So I decided to hunt the cougar. But it went wrong when (in the 3rd burst of bullets) it was hit and predictably went for revenge. Yankee failed horribly at close range, missing every shot. It looked like the cougar would kill him. But iguana 4 who I had obtained as an egg from a bulk goods trader (along with 4 others) came in and scratched the cougar. The cougar bit it back and killed him instantly. He was only a juvinile, 7 days old and he was dead. My first real casulty. But his sacrifise gave Yankee time to spin up his minigun and rip the cougar to shreds at point blank (litraly barrel touching the cougar) and the cougar died. Unlike any other animal which I would butcher and forget about I decided to put him to rest in a marble sarcophagus and the art on the side was how the cougar killed him with a person watching nearby. I will remenber you iguana. You saved a crutial fighter and deserve respect.

Just got to say, this game is good. The titan units add more tactical opotunitys for you and your enemys. Though it could get repetative, the amout of content will keep me playing this for a while. One thing i don't like though is the amount of single planet systems in galactic war. This makes Ragnarok, Halley delta V engiens and anihalasors kind of useless in those games. Even though I haven't seen all the content in the game yet I'm sure I will enjoy this game for a long time. Some requests/ideas to the devs if they see this: can we have giant planitary energy shields of some kind that block big enemy ships (eg omega and helios) from entering orbital height until they destroy the shield with their firepower (and maybe stop orbital structures being built?). This of course would cost lots of power and would be expencive to build but it could work. Also, some regular energy shield projector/generator (who's shield can be destroyed) to absorb damge and prevent long range artilery from having free reign of desruction on enemy bases.

This (unlike another game i've reveiwed) is one of the best games i've played. prison arcitect is an amazing game with depth though it's a shame that the tutorial/story is, for lack of a better word, innapropriet(ie. the nudity in it but you can avoid this as it's pretty easy to learn the basics). Also the escape mode is cool and still manages to be good even though the game is not based around it. It is the ultimate genocide simulator. oh and the regular mode is fun as well being customisabe and it can be split between sanbox and carreir (ok cant spell it). 9/10

Chaos reborn is a fun game... if probability is on your side. Depending on your luck the first few times you play it it can be enjoyable or be so rage enducing that you want to delete the game. I have had bad experiences with this game and probability is being downright sadistic. If your luck is terrible dont play this game. I personaly don't like the game very much right now. I don't think a game should rely on luck this much. There is not a lot of skill involved. My opinion on the game may change if the game is improved.

First, the positives. The spells are fun and unique, playing against other players is fun (it takes far too long to matchmake though) and when things go your way it is very satisfying.

Why does everything die in one hit. Its unrealistic. (And before people post comments like "the game is a dystopian fantasy game so of course it wont be realistic" i mean realistic in terms of if this game was real.) How is a "giant" rat supposed to kill a wizard or a dragon in one bite then getting blowtorched by a dragon and surviving. Also the A.I has far better luck than the player. I dont know weather this is just a coincidence but I rarely ever win against A.I as they summon powerful units with a low sucess rate as the real things. You're usually better off fighting players as it is fairer. A HP system needs to be added in so that rediculosly unrealistic things don't happen.

One of the most frustrating things is failing a cast that you put a lot of mana into to boost its chances or sucessfuly casting a magic attack 3 judgment or the other one (the fillter will probably filter it out if i say its name) and then it doesn't actualy hit any of the targets.

A request to the developers if they see this review. Put in a system that makes it so that if a player fails high sucess chance spells or attacks too much in one battle, give them a tempory buff that stops them from failing these spells for one or two turns. I've only had this game two days playing for a couple of hours each time and I have had more than 10 draws so could the turn limit be longer by defalt.
