After first getting my computer in the summer of 2018 I thought what not a better game to grab than Batman Arkham Knight to try out my new setup and see how it works. The game itself was fun the gameplay of course felt great, Rocksteady really does a good job at keeping the combat looking and feeling good. However after so many hours of play the animations tend to get boring and that sense of power you have at the start slowly starts to drift. The Batmobile although having a looming presence over a majority of the game is fun to use, its fast and the skins you can get for it are baller but the overuse of the batmobile is clearly present. It seems like the developers needed something more to add for the game and just stuck the batmobile as the scape goat for a majority of the riddler trophies and challenges, it just seems as though there could've been something else more interesting or luring for a consumer to buy the game other than it just has the batmobile. The story was phenomenal though I do see a lot of people upset by the lurking of the Joker throughout the game which I myself find as hilarious and very well though through. Having the Joker with you throughout the story feeding into Batmans head making him almost doubtful of his own decisions was great and almost every time he shows up in the game its interesting. The Arkham Knight himself was a good twist and having it be Jason Todd was a surprise for me at least. Though I loved a lot of the story there were some things I didn't like too much. I didnt like how restrictive it felt. It felt like Robin or even Nightwing could have had more of a role in the story, or even portions where you can play as them, and I mean not just in the dlc. It would have been interesting to see how the story and mechanics would've worked out with more characters playable or even games set in the stories of those side characters. Given everything I give this game a solid 8.5/10 would recommend

Game is fun wouldn't spend too much time on it though seems like a waste :P
