Best free competitive FPS hands down. I have been playing this game consistently for almost 3 years and I love it. It was the first fps that I found that was an even playing field between players and realistic. After learning that their was many mechanics like strafing, grenade line ups, and actual military strategy being used when people play the game I immediately fell in love. For new players just keep in mind that this game takes practice and time to get the hang of. Teamwork is the second most important part of this game. The game being a competitive shooter is very intriguing to me and I love the aspect of the stakes being high. Although it is hard to find teammates that are willing to communicate efficiently or stay positive when losing. There will always be good and bad teammate experiences. There are many fun game modes and almost endless steam workshop capabilities.
