This logging game had a lot of potential, a perfect combo of mudrunner terrain deformation with the logging experience of Farming Simulator. however it was seemingly abandonned before truely reaching its potential. Performance seems to chug, physics feel unpolished and causes glitches with the vehicles, despite being a satisfying gameloop (similar to logging in farming simulator). the technical challenges and the vehicle glitches ruin the overall experience, looking for logging trucks in mud go to the snowrunner franchise, looking for actual logging go to farm simulator and either use the basegame or download some free additional logging mods. For it's price i dont recommend it, unless the developers decide to take a look at it again and actually refine it, i would not advice to get this one.

My biggest issue was related to the terrain deformation, the mud was fine, you got stuck in it okay makes sense, but then i put mud matts over the mud, and the wheels of my vehicles kept bugging out on these items, the one supposed to help me cross the mud made it a hell to get through. In the end i spend most my time using the feller to cut and instantly transport my logs to the mills, and cut them up on site to the wanted length

The first fishing game of the franchise, got a large amount of time spent here, yet seeing i only found this game after their release of north atlantic, i spent less time then i otherwise would have, an unique region of the world, a very big niche in the simulation genre (fishing), the only real competition is deadliest catch:the game, but as the name suggests those focus on crabs, while this game focus's on a wider variety of fish. the graphics and physics do feel dated compared to their newer games but still quite enjoyable to play. The game scales quite nicely depending on the boat you have, meaning if you want to rush it, you can just take out a loan, purchase a big ship like a trawler and use the money it makes to buy the smaller ones, or actually scale gradually one tier of ship higher than the previous one.

I recommend this game if you like the maritime world and simulations, however there's a newer version from the same developers i would recommend more. This should be more a 'complete the collection' type game and buying Fishing: North Atlantic if you're only looking for one fishing game of this niche.

A wonderful hospital management simulation. A more serious one than Two Point hospital, this also means that some parts of it might strike too close to home for some, however a better option if realism is important to you. The game doesn't cover all departments you might find in a hospital, but definately covers most of it.
The management goes quite in depth, and the building is grid based which makes it easy to get a hold on
Despite stopping active development of the game, every so often you might get a random bug fix or patch update. I got all the DLC's for this game, plus some mods to add even more different departments, which means i never ran out of expansions that i could plan to specialise parts of it even more.

If you ever get tired of the management part you could also just rename a doctor after yourself, and start manually treating any patients that enter your office or your department.

Big recommend for anybody who likes management games with emergency services or healthcare as themes.

Airport CEO is in my eyes the current leader when it comes to airport management games, with great indepth systems, immersive HUD artstyle that makes you actually feel like the CEO of an airport. You can outsource tasks to other executive officers, you can micromanage your employees, you have to make sure all resources needed to keep it running are there, and the airport can get affected by outside events or emergencies. An all round amazing game within the management genre.

Early Access Review
A colony builder style game with an unique take on the tech tree mechanics. The way you discover new technology is by studying objects required to make it. This can make it quite difficult or easy depending on where you start.

You also control a tribe of primitive sapiens, however don't get attached, their lifespans don't seem too long. The building style is free form which is quite nice to let your creativity run, but also a bit harder to make sure the sapiens will move as you want them to. There is a certain grind to the game, especially when trying to gather enough resources to build bigger structures, although i didnt mind this at all.

Keeping my growing sapiens population's fed seems to be the biggest struggle i keep having, however this is more due to my horrible food management.

I highly recommend this game to people who enjoy colony builders and people who like tribal cultures over the more modern ones.

Ever wanted to feel like a dispatcher? Be overwhelmed by calls and telling emergency services where to go? than this might be your calling.
Together with it's succesor 112 Operator this game achieves this amazingly, putting you behind a dispatcher desk managing and coordinating crews of emergency services including medics, firemen and police, and the many varients that you can think of.
Some calls just pop up, others you actually get put into a dialogue to answer, over time these calls can become repetitive, but not every incident can be something unique or special.

I highly recommend this game if you like games similar to paper please or other 'desk' based games.

Do you like simulation games? do you like slinging mud? do you like flipping heavy duty vehicles? than this game is what you need. Besides being the sequal to spintyres and mudrunner with the expected road deformation and struggling through deep puddles, this iteration also adds a multitude of maps, even without the plentiful DLC's you will easily spend hours trying to get to finish an area.
Altho its easier to finish jobs with up to 3 friends, the game does allow you to fully play this singleplayer. It will take a lot longer by yourself however.
The maps themselves are very well put together, extremely challenging, however over time you can learn which trails are 'easier' to navigate than others.
Wether you want to roleplay an occupational force with army green trucks, actual humanitarian aid as the game tries to make you feel, or just a big tyres mud slinging hillbilly with raised pickups, this game checks all the boxes needed for that.

I highly recommend this game for other people who tend to love playing simulation, and especially driving simulation games, its slow pace, but requires a lot of attention.

This game together with their european counterpart are some of the peak simulation games around, Great level of immersion, great therapeutic driving, enough inputs needed to not barrel roll into a ditch or majorly damage your truck that you're not completely zoned out.
The highways themselves are places i tend to turn off my brain (exception if i decide to not use the GPS to find the destination), however any of the countryside roads or the destination cities are challenging enough to have to keep your head on a swivel, this includes some parking spots.
The long hauls remind me of my time in minecraft spending hours just holding left click and forwards without actually thinking, however american truck does require a bit more input than that, it gives my brain the same kind of tranquility.

Besides this already being one of the top tier simulation games, they keep updating and improving the game, this includes the base game areas that started to feel outdated compared to the latest DLC's at one point, but not anymore!

I highly recommend this game for people who love simulation games or want to have a chill therapeutic game that doesnt require too much brainpower.

If you want a comparison between this and the euro truck simulator, the best way i can describe it: ETS has better cities and random scenery, ATS has better natural landscapes

I highly recommend this game for whomever likes the real simulators such as eurotruck simulator, the core of the game stayed the same as its prequels (driving up and down a field with a tractor), however with the number also the features and graphics increase in quality, making immersion that much better.

The game can be seen as a bit grindy, but those used to the other simulators should be used to that exponential profit curve by now, those looking for a chill thing to do while wasting away time should definitely give this a try. It can also be very fun to work together with friends on a farm, or against each other, seeing in multiplayer you can create multiple farms and battle each other for dominance.

112 operator is a game, that as the name might make you assume, puts you in the spot of an emergency dispatcher, a sequel to 911 operator, very similar games, however this one has the benefit it also neatly ties into the game infection free zone, so if you're like me, and appreciate if games neatly tie together, it gives you a nice linear progression and stepping stone into the other.

The campaign is quite tense and stressful, however just changing the speed can make it a lot easier or harder, the random calls also make it so not a single run seems the same, one time you have a parking violation, another you got a bank robbery that tears through your under equipped officers.

i recommend this game for people who like the idea of working in a stressful dispatch center and have interests in emergency services, so more aligned with the job simulators than any other genre.
