I'm glad that they were able to add the battle pass, exp boost timers, timed events, and flashy menus, as you see in every other Cod, Fortnite, etc. Garbo game. Having this in the game first really helps show just how much "content" there is. The gameplay is alright, IG; BattleBits ran 10x better and didn't have as much game pass BS as you see in this game. The writing is all over the walls; I give it one to two years max before it joins Xdefiant. Also no training mode, so I have NO IDEA what is going on before a nuke is dropped on me.

Giving me TimberBorn vibes, this game is a nice cozy/strategy-like game that doesn’t stress you out or feel like you’re tied to every decision you make and is easy to understand. Nice concept, I can’t wait to see the content added to this game. There are some minor bugs, but check discussion boards, and you’ll definitely find the answer. The only bug I encountered was the reloading bug, where I was stuck unless I reloaded my game to complete it. Minor things, but still had fun playing.

It's an awesome game for its price. I stopped playing and didn't 100% the achievements only because the "General" is pretty brutal on the third island. I messed up the save and wanted to avoid redoing my progress. I still recommend the game; there is a lot of content, about 10+ hours.

This game is tedious to play due to uninteresting cut scenes, characters, unique zombies, and even weapons. The maps are decently designed but lack real passion, unlike the first Dead Island. It feels like I'm just playing a game inspired by Dead Island, created by a small team of developers with upgraded graphics. If you and your friends are looking for a zombie game to play in 2024 and have nothing else to play, then you could give this game a try, but don't expect too much from it. Also, look for it at a discounted price.

Update: I completed almost an entire mission, only for it to reset because I was "out of bounds." All the zombies disappeared, and I had to restart. Yeah, no thanks; I'm uninstalling.

I couldn't even get through the tutorial before getting bored. It could be a hidden gem underneath all the mechanics of this game, but I'm good. It would have been nice if the tutorial had a voice overlay, but after reading the 30th prompt of information with the repeating background music, I just gave up.

I would not recommend this game unless you have two other friends to mess around with, but even then, you will be facing off with three stack sweats that will stop at nothing and come up with the most elaborate Oppenheimer stunts to stop you from scoring or anything in the game. Also, the battle pass this season (season 1) is nothing to grind for, just some Elvis, black swan, and alien outfits; it lacks much content for their first battle pass. I only play this game because of friends, but I pray they move to something better every day.
ALSO THE ANNOUNCERS VOICES ARE SO ANNOYING, PLEASE ADD TOGGLE TO TURN OFF OR SHOW HOW TO IN TUTORIAL, THANK YOU DEVS!

I picked up the game for around $5 as of November 14, 2023; I was trying to find games to run on my i7-9750H/2070 Max-Q laptop, which ran flawlessly. I experienced no glitches and a decent campaign where you play as the "bad guy" with Michael McConnohie voice-acting as the humans. After about 25 hours, I've completed the campaign and almost both DLCS. The DLCs add to the story as side missions or an epilogue to what happens at the end of the campaign. Both DLCs are short but add new units and maps to the game. A classic game I recommend.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is like going for a run through the first-ever trail you started when you were younger. The trail differs from how you remember, with different paths, rocks, and obstacles. To some, we play RE4 to relive our childhood; for others, we play because we never got to play the original RE4. I wish they kept as much as they could from the old RE4, but now we get this flush-out RE4 remake that is great to look at but doesn't bring back the nostalgia like the original did. I honestly fear how they will change RE5, as it's hard to make an AAA game that doesn't "offend" anyone. Until then, I suggest getting this game on sale if you're hoping to be just like the old RE4, but if you're new to the franchise and have never played RE4, then this game is excellent, and you should get it anytime, especially on sale!

Pros:
-Visually, the game looks amazing
-Gameplays smooth, with no glitches or frame drops (9/26/2023 5800x/4080 rig)
-Characters redesign style-wise (voice-wise are horrible choices)
-Different-looking enemies (need a few more character designs for each level, and it would be perfect)

Cons:
-LEONS ONE LINERS (Can I get a mod that takes out 90% of these, please?)
-When Ada Wang shows up, the game starts to drag and becomes lifeless
-Sound design
-No quick-time events (it's just like I'm watching a movie)

Things I miss from the old RE4:
-Leon's abilities he gains
-The scary chants in the castle level
-Ada Wang's original voice or someone better (Ada sounds like Ashely's mother, lmao)

I tried to give this game a chance after Surviving Mars (which was fun up to a point), but this game hit that point of no return pretty quickly. The best way I could explain my experience is to imagine you're playing a game that doesn't challenge you enough but then ramps up out of nowhere (and not in a fun way, either). Also, there are no actual tutorials, just some hints/tips, really. I would stay away from this game, play Surviving Mars, and not bother with this one.

Also, running this game on a 5800x/4080 rig, and the graphic settings are hideous, I thought something was wrong with my GPU. I would not recommend this game on sale; maybe watch someone else play/waste their time playing it.
