So far of this game, it is fun, however there is alot of work to be done.
1. hits only register if I swing my weapon as if its a hammer on a nail, or if I stab like I'm using a rapier or a spear. There isn't much reaction to the enemy being hit by our attack except poise breaking when they fall over, I would like it so that when they get hit, they'll stumble backwards, left, right, etc. Right now they act like i'm hitting them with a newspaper.
2. add collision so that if you or enemy walk into each other, they'll be pushed back rather than you or the enemy phasing through you.
3. For some reason some enemies when they swing their weapon, there is no sound like a whoosh. I don't know if this is a error, bug or that you haven't added the sounds yet.
4. provide alternarive option to use magic WITHOUT needing to draw the symbol. I had trouble casting it and only managed to make it work widening the drawing's size, like flailing my arm in a circe.
5. make it so that when aiming with bow or casting a spell with staff, a cursor appears showing where you are aiming

This game has alot of potential and I hope to see improvement and/or if my advice is of any help.

At first, the game start off rather average, but I don't mean bad kind of average but the classic feel kind of average. The game was fairly easy and fun for the most part, although a tiny bit annoying that three parts of the game I'd crash. The game started to improve when I ended up in a gameboy world referencing pokemon, I was not expecting this sudden plotwist. I do gotta admut, its very clever how you made Dust as an enemy considering it is hazardous to a game cartridge. The biggest surprise of it all, was near the end where suddenly I was IN the battle as a blank sprite with my name on it. Out of all the rpgs i've played, this is the first time a piece of myself got personally involved with the final boss, it had me grinning so much thoughout the battle. If I had known about this, i'd have edited that sprite. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for making this game! I'm gonna go play the sequel now! <3

This was was a little frusterating, but fun. I can forgive all the bugs and glitches considering considering the whole 'this world is dying and turning into pixels' bit. I loved the references, easter eggs, and the humor. My only gripe are the endings, they're WAY too short, I don't get to see the world returning to its original graphics? or to see the land prospering to what it used to be? The items/lore spoke so much of the past and I don't get to see traditions returning??

I've been enjoying the hell out of this game so far and the storys been good with some plotwists. Now, there is some issues I have with this game.
1. Due to the limitation of arena tokens, grinding can be difficult to do early game.
2. The difficult spikes are a bit random if you choose the second option as your difficult. There's been times I go 'wtf' when a unit with 30% - 50% less threat level suddenly destroys my units even though previous chapters they were fairly tanky, ESPECIALLY near the end of the game where black mages and champions are thrown at you as they tear through your units like butter, even if you overleveled.
3. The 'bonus challenges' are unnecessary. Oh sure, it'll get ya lotsa money and such, but.. .Your main character unit, Diana, and Abagayle? They are your powerhouses for most of the game. MC due to Spoilers: Once he/she returns from the dead and is promoted, Attacking first they get to cast a AoE lightning spell, destroying most of the units if you've got two or three mages or dragons to attack with him/her. Abagayle as her passive helps overlevel dragons, and Diana, who BECOMES A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BEAST. She's tank, has high crit rate, and destroys most units in the front. Add two/three healers and two paladins and she'll destroy most things that isn't an assassin that destroys healers. Due to those three, I've often found myself not bothering to buy new units.

Suggestions to improve this game
1. Quality of life improve inspired by Fire Emblem games such as showing an 'arrow' path whenever you order a unit to move.
2. add an option so that after you finished ordering all your units, the game will automatically end turn and not have you to select it every time.
3. After enemy units move, make their sprite greye out so I know which one has moved or not.
4. Adjust the Blackmarket, or at the very least make the shop change every time I train in the arena rather than I need to complete a chapter to see new goodies.
5. remove the tokens and instead make it so that you pay in gold coins similar to Fire Emblem's Arena. If you lose in the arena, you don't have all that exps vanish as if I loaded a previous save, instead let my units keep it. Failing to beat the chapter will mean I lost gold. But of course, you could replace the arena with the option to revisit previously beaten maps to find random units who have taken over it.
6. the AI is so far, its.. kind of 65% intelligent but often times they would rather attack a unit with high threat level than to go for low weak threat levels. Sometimes they'll outright ignore taking over your base in favor of attacking others. I believe the AI should be tweaked to go for threat levels lower than theirs and if their HP gets low, make them flee to a Fort or Church to get healed up per turn.
7. dragons need a buff, they're suppose like a more tankier mage, but for them to fall SO quickly to physical attacks? Considering how they take extra slots, it makes them useless at front row.
8. While buying units is good, I believe you should have a new spell where you can capture units much like Fire Emblem Fates, but of course you may keep that idea for a future game instead programming it here.
Now, considering this game was made with rpg maker, the suggestions I made may or may not be possible to do, and I understand if you can't do them, or if you disagree with my suggestions. Or if, by chance, this game won't be updated or improved upon.

Graphics / Animation: Good.
Sound: Some sound good, could have been better.
Bosses: Dark Souls levels of 'git-gud'
Music: Awesome! Its like a nice blend of Castlevania and Mischief makers.
Game Duration: Fair, but it could have been alot longer, perhaps add a second section to explore. The bow, other than used for puzzle solving, ends up underused since magic takes good care of the enemies.
Story: The story ends up being severely lacking and doesn't go very deep in detail, however as you progress through the game, bits and pieces are revealed. There are two moments where the plot is twisted around unexpectedly. The cut-scenes could have been better since its just minor movement and text, but despite its lacking, it does a fair job explaining the story.
I'd give this game a 7/10. I hope to see a sequel that further improves what you guys made, or better yet a sequel going into detail about Deed, her friends, and her world.

It's simple, straightforward, and to the point. There's only one tiny issue: The speed you move depending on how fast you move your controllers. Reason being is that I'm not moving my arms fast, and yet the game makes it look like i'm booking it. I would prefer if there was a static speed your character moves at for the duration of the run, I'm not here to make the "Best time" record. I'm here to jog and enjoy the ambiance.

The game is very awesome. However, the pvp match maker needs some tweakin. Also please, include a report system so we can ban or punish toxic or poor sportsmenship players. After a few more hours of playing, I believe you guys seriously need to add a mute player option and fix the que times by giving player npcs either for pvp or pve.

EDIT: January update.. YOU. ♥♥♥♥♥♥. UP. BIG TIME! Get rid of the 'pay real money to get stuff' or GIVE US A SECOND OPTION. I'd rather grind a thousand or million cps than pay real money!
