KSP 2 is out and you should buy KSP 1 instead, it is cheaper, has more features, fewer bugs (still buggy though) and you can get most of the promised features of KSP 2 in KSP 1 with mods (use Ckan). I have tested KSP 2 and although my system is well over the minimum requirements, reaching 30 fps is rare. KSP 1 is still very relevant even though KSP 2 is in early access now.

Early Access Review
Game is currently abandoned, Take Two has fired most of their indie division, including the studio for KSP 2. Since the game was never as developed as KSP 1, there is basically nothing here to buy, yet it is still available for purchase and sometimes even on sale, its a scam. Also most of the positive reviews are from the launch month, arguing we should let devs work on it, before critiquing it, yea dont be fooled by the mixed overall reviews, they should all be overwhelmingly negative.

As someone who is used to games with over 1k hours worth of playtime, this is a bit lacking in terms of contend. 30€/$ would be a better price, I got it for 24€, waiting for a discount is the way to go.
Still cant recommend the game though, the entire package is terribly buggy. Its not even ingame, but everything around. At some point, a string of code decided to brake my Esc menu, enabling some sort of shader glitch that pines the GPU at 100% and crushes my fps below 20. Until I find a way to fix this, pausing the game is impossible without a restart. While at the topic of starting, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an offline game, it can not be played offline. You get the EA DRM (Digital Rights Management) software, that requires the EA store, it does literally nothing, not even launching on its own, it only works when launching one of its games through steam. I really like the game itself, but considering that I spend days getting it to work in the first place, a negative review is what I need to give. Almost all of my negatives are related to problems with EA software, this is not the fault of the developers.

Edit: After a GPU upgrade (GTX 1650 Super -> RX 6700) the fps bug has been fixed, well not actually. If you open the menu a memory leak gets triggered, increasing the VRAM requirement by about 3GB, so the 4GB 1650 Super ran into a bottleneck, but the 10GB RX 6700 doenst. 6GB of VRAM seem to be fine with medium textures.

This game requires a Microsoft account, so I made one just to play Sea of Thieves, the next day my account was banned for "suspicious activity", whatever that means. I have no way of recovering my account, I have no way of finding out why I am banned and I am lucky that I dont need an MS account for anything else. So I will ask for a refund now.
