Its Fallout in Space so its pretty good.
I dont know what people expected from BGS they only make one kind of game.
If youre looking for an overly complex space sim that has you flying 3 hours to get to a space station, this isnt it.
If you like fallout and skyrim then youre going to enjoy this.
Now i dont think its as refined as either of those titles but heres hoping they keep supporting this title and make it better than it is currently.
I finished the game at around 120 hours before going into NG+ and i still hadnt completed all the story lines or put any effort to base building.
There are so many random questlines you can find scattered throughout the galaxy you never know whats going to happen when you jump into a new system.

Overall its a fun and great game.

Warhammer 40k Darktide is a game ive been hyped for since it was announced.
I played a decent amount of Vermintide 2 and as much as i enjoyed the game play i couldnt get into it all that much just cause im not a big fan of that Warhammer universe.

Darktide however? Vermintide but with guns? 40k? Hell yeah.

I have to say there are a few things that need to be improved on with this game like some UI changes and some Quality of life changes.
Armor is unlocked by doing challenges and as it stands some of them seem to Grief a team more than actually help so these will NEED to be re-worked honestly.
Fatshark has done a good job of listening to its fan base on these and its a relief to see a company now a days that actually takes feedback and listens to it.

You get 4 classes to choose from:
Veteran: is your standard Guardsman who refuses to melee in a Melee focused game and wastes massive amount of ammo.
Zealot: More of a melee based class it seems but i havent played much of them, They get a flamethrower and hate everyone else on the team and still hog all the ammo even though they've only shot twice.
Psyker: Magic boi that can wield a staff and deal massive AOE to hordes.(Try to solo beast of nurgle and dies constantly)
Finally we have the GigaChad of the Warhammer universe,
OGRYN: A absolute unit of a lad. Wields big ass cannons, miniguns and oversized kitchen knife to cut and eat the forces of Chaos. This lad will block every Veterans gun shot, melee kill everything in front of him and destroy anything the Psykers try to head pop. 10/10 best class.

Darktide takes the Vermintide formula and i think enhances it in some parts.
Specials feel a lot more dangerous, even if sometimes it seems a bit too goofy but hopefully Fatshark will fix this when trying to dodge their attacks.
Team play is needed, you cannot 1 man a whole mission anymore it seems and working together as a squad is needed.
The combat feels really good, you can feel it when you slice through a horde of poxwalkers with a powersword or when you chainsword a heavy armored foe.
You can feel the blood covering you in glorious salvation as the Emperor empowers you to keep cutting through the Chaos forces while the absolute BANGER of a OST plays.
Honestly some of the best Music ive heard in a OST in awhile.
Firearms feel Good as well, from the Lasguns to the big boi BOLTER that just destroys everything in front of you.

Id say its worth picking up and trying out, hours of fun wit da boyz.

Only in Death does Duty end.
