I enojoyed it.
The enviroments and textures are great.
Still I prefer Doom 1 and 2, Quake, Heretic and Duke Nukem 3D for the core gameplay.
But it definitely worth it.. you just need to endure the first impression because it has a much different feeling from other '90 fps.

(+) art style, environments
(+) katana
(+) more and better death animations than other '90 fps
(+) main character talks a lot and he is light-heartedly funny-dumb and badass-cool
(+) interactivity of the environment
(+) secondary mode for a lot of weapons

(-) almost no dodging or bullet hell
(-) lack of a good old shotgun (there is just a weak, unsatisfied one)
(-) chaingun hitscanners.. chaingun hitscanners everywhere!!!
(-) splash damage area way too big for granade launcher and sticky bombs
(-) weird huge chained enviromental explosions of non explosive elements like decorations
(-) just 50 to 20 ammo for good weapons
(-) railgun too weak

ABOUT THIS VERSION
It is ok but in certain cases it crashes..
I think it usually crashes me when I load a save near a boss in the death screen.. just near a boss and in the death screen.. so just press the button for restart the level and then load: it is 3 seconds more.

I think.. use this for achievements and then use a source-port.

Una delle migliori avventure grafiche che abbia giocato.
Ambientazione carinissima.
Combinazione degli oggetti interessante.
Qualche puzzle può essere una sfida, soprattutto se non si ha familiarità con questo tipo di attività, ma con un po' di perseveranza si possono far tutti.

Splendido metroidvania.
Vero metroidvania (non sono uno di quelli che chiama così ogni gioco con prospettiva laterale), con raccolta di poteri, backtracking proficuo e level design complesso, intricato e ben curato.

Uno dei migliori giochi che ho provato.
Oltre alle sparatorie degne di Quake e Doom adoro l'atmosfera da thriller in cui ti cala ed il modo in cui la storia ti fa vivere il tema fantascientifico.

One of the best FPS, still today.
Plenty of good thriller and sci-fi vibes, plenty of fun as well:
a perfect encounter between action and atmosphere.

Very nice game; I recommend it BUT
do not expect another Opposing Force.
Opposing Force could be a stand-alone game in the franchise;
Blue Shift taste more like a very nice dlc mod.
If you expect a dinner you'll be disappointed, if you expect a breakfast that's all you could desire.

I sure recommend it: had a lot of fun, good Half Life experience.

Picchiaduro perfetto per le mie esigenze; complesso al punto giusto, pieno di varietà e dai bellissimi effetti visivi.
Queste ultime due caratteristiche me lo fanno preferire al precedente capitolo della saga.

"LEGO Batman, The Videogame" è un titolo sottovalutato; ha delle meccaniche di backtracking per il recupero dei segreti soddisfacenti quanto quelle di un metroidvania. Combat system a rischio zero e coop locale su schermo condiviso (odio lo split screen dei seguiti) lo rendono perfetto da giocare con un bambino che in genere ne sarà felice (nipoti, figli.. è un modo carino di passare tempo insieme e fargli sfogare quelle pulsioni che sfogherebbero cmq su un gioco random preso al cellulare).
