Persona 5 - This is not just an exceptional game, it is a full-fledged experience of another life, a path with its own difficulties, sorrows and problems, but no matter what, on this path you will meet wonderful people who will let you understand that all this can be overcome. The main value is to stay true to yourself and appreciate those who are next to you along this path. And well, obstacles are surmountable.
Catherine Classic - Vincent's story unveils themes of gaining maturity, ability of taking responsibility for his own actions and facing a midlife crisis - all wrapped in a shell of unique and addictive gameplay, deep characters development,and intriguing narrative twists. And surprisingly for Japanese games, the duration is chosen perfectly. All was done quite exquisitely to gain special place in my heart.
Bayonetta - Mad-ass game with the most variable and impactful combat system in industry, mgr, dmc, gow, just pale in comparison with Bayonetta.
Alan Wake 2 - Being an outright postmodern game, it re-presents the same concept as in the first part but much deeper, trying to escape from captivity Alan involved too many lives that were distorted for the sake of his novel, for which he will eventually have to pay. From the narrative and artistic side, this is the best game that has been created to this day, the atmosphere of “Twin Peaks”, the visuals that border on realism, the obscure metaphorical phenomena that are happening around, and the literal ability to rewrite the reality around - that what Alan Wake 2 is.
The Talos Principle - A wonderful philosophical message with passion and love to humanity. In search of meaning what defines us, the game brings up questions of our consciousness, human nature, immortality, legacy of you or mankind itself, what’s make us human, is it complex of data, memories and experiences, or something else? Hopefully everyone able to find his own answer.
SOMA - being let it call not a big fan of horror, yet from the other side being quite big fan of good storytelling and philosophical dilemmas it may contribute, fortunately this game consist both, from one hand terryfing fear from place itself and frustration due to the mess that appears, but the real terror begins out of realisation of the world that was represented to us, and the conseption of dilema wich move through the game: what we can call human? what define our consciousness, can it be reproduse and replaced? Still it be you? And what make you feel like exactly that version of urself is real? Сopying consciousness, rewriting, recreating, cause consequences, either a new life is born or it is erased, making such a decision, are you ready to be in the place of those who were left behind?
Cyberpunk 2077: phantom liberty - (DLC that terned base game from 7,5 to expansion worth a 10)
Baldur’s Gate 3 - Every aspect, every mechanic creates an incredible immersive adventure experience that modern games rarely can recreate. The game that gives such freedom to the player that you didn’t even know about, such a thoughtful and complex, variable and interconnected combat, every time makes you feel like everything depends on it. Incredibly beautiful graphics for an isometric RPG, the voices of the actors, the framing, the plot and the characters themselves, everything is at an extremely good level. Indescribable route filled with the spirit of freedom and adventure.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines - (setting, lore, story, characters, music - damn, just love this game) - double mind blowing xxxD
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth - (Lurking Lovecraftian madness that leaks from every corner)
тургор - (the incarnation of human desires and urges, a game that captures the concept of an existential crisis, the search for yourself, and the embodiment of the realization of ambitions to find meaning and release from this conceptual cycle)
мор. утопия - (The definition of art itself. The best embodiment of the concept of utopia, the city that realized the impossible, implemented the metaphysical concepts of ideas and different worldviews. Moreover, the setting and the world captured death in all its essences)
nier automata - (The most existential philosophical message that has been left to mankind)
disco elysium - (The deepest politico-philosophical dive that was ever brought to this world from game industry)
death stranding - (A game in which you can finally take a break from all these boring philosophical existential plots)
metal gear solid/rising - (The greatest simulation of a war crimes)
fallout 1/2 - (The most varied roleplaying game about the grave robber on the path of a porn star career)
UNCHARTED 4/lost legacy - (Best Indiana Jones experience ever, if the movies wouldn’t be boring as ♥♥♥♥)
Pathologic 2 - (The most philosophical question about overcoming of death. Less widening questions about metaphysics but more about bounds of the world and metaphorical conception of attachment to the past)
