-hilarity abruply stops when turret slowly turns around and fires at gamers 1 and 2

This absolute beauty of a game is by far one of the best I've played, despite only having 5 hours at the time of this review, and it hasn't even been finished yet. I had played the first Subnautica on console and loved every second of it, and even after a mere 10 minutes I already saw the massive effort and improvements the Subnautica team has made in Below Zero. A perfect mix of sandbox, survival, and horror make this game terrifying whether you've got 5 hours or 500. An absolute must-have if you played the first game and enjoy survival with a twist.

suprisingly fun for a Minecraft ripoff XD. Several bosses, a skill point system, and interesting structures actually prevented me from dropping the game after a couple weeks. Fun to play when I can't make up my mind on what else to do

Such a great game for those looking for more of a combat/action style of a creative survival game, and, with the spreading of hallowed, crimson, and corruption, it forces you to think ahead before running blindly into Hardmode (which, for new players, you will never be fully prepared, your'e essentially starting over only it's more difficult XD) Bosses are a great way to get advanced loot and practice fighting stronger enemies, and random events, while sometimes happening at the worst of times, are a fun twist to the every-day trek, as often times I find myself just waiting for night to fight more bosses to get more powerful equipment.

9/10 only because there's nearly no lore in-game whatsoever, and I'd like to see why there is corruption/crimson, hallowed, bosses, etc. without having to search it online. Otherwise a perfect game to play alone or with friends to take down powerful creatures, build massive cities, and brawl it out together. Possibly my favorite multiplayer game on Steam!
