Train Mechanic Simulator 2017

I basically binge-played this through in a single session (except for some breaks for having food and other recurring activities. ;-) ). Being a big fan of Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 I instantly felt like being home in this game. Just with bigger machines and motors. Waaay bigger... XD

What made this game unique to me was the part, that you have to go out from time to time in your maintenance diesel to haul off broken locomotives or even lift them back on tracks using your crane (kind of a minigame). A highly welcomed variation to being all the time in your garage. Try switching to operator view for more immersion, when you're on the roa.. *ehm* "rails".

I was in doubt when I read all those negative reviews, but then I decided to get it anyway. Yes, there are a few glitches here and there. I've seen some polish texts (nothing essential, all important information was translated), some descriptions were plain wrong (like "go to the port and pick up the loco", but it was in the mountains instead, or "repair the steam chamber", but it was neither rusted nor broken, but another part, etc.). I admit that this was not convenient, but none of these were game-breaking. The game was rock stable, not a single crash, not graphical issues, stable framerate (maxed on a GTX 1070).

For me, these were 13 highly entertaining hours. Definitely recommended, unless you hate simulators. ;-)
