In days long past, a young man strode the lands of Tellius. He was simple yet true, his deeds brave and noble. He reunited two races long at war, and healed the heart of a goddess long gone mad. Ask any you meet be they young or old, beorc or laguz, of a hero named Volke and you'll recieve a warm smile and a tale or two of faith, courage, and honesty.

I don’t speak much, but I’ll make an exception this time. I fight for peace. That’s the only reason I take on my missions. Conflict is inevitable, but if I have to fight, let it be for a greater purpose. However, I know everything has its right moment. Patience is the key. I don’t act without thinking, and I don’t strike without observing. The enemy always has a weakness, and that’s where I attack. Enemy's weakness is my strength.

I’m not one to be swayed by emotions. I prefer to listen to my surroundings. The wind speaks to me. In silence, I find answers. As for death... I don’t fear it. There is no death, only a change of worlds. To me, life is a cycle. Every ending is just a transition. There is no end, only new beginnings.

My skill doesn’t come just from what I’ve learned, but from something deeper. I am one with nature. I move in the shadows, guided by the wind and the earth. I’m an assassin, but my purpose is clear. I prefer to stay in the shadows; I just need to know that I made an improvement in someone's life. I act silently, without seeking recognition, letting my actions speak for me. At the end, everyone forgets about me. The essential thing is that our world becomes a better place to live, not knowing who is responsible for those changes. That's what my master thaught me: "Justice is not always visible, but it is always present. Sometimes, those who act from the shadows are the ones who bring the most light to the world."
