This game was one of my favorites back in the mid 2000s... I'm thinking about finding a way to reinstall the CD, even though my PC no longer has a CD-ROM drive. This Steam version crashes so much it's almost unplayable. I've yet to complete a single war patrol without the game crashing. Nothing like spending 2 hours plotting a course to your patrol area, finding a convoy, stalking it for a half hour, sinking 4 ships with your first salvo, 2 more with your second, making a miraculous escape, limping your way back to port....almost there... AAAAANNND game crashes.

Addictive and fun, what else is there to say? It's basically Oregon Trail on the high seas with sea shanties.

I really want to love this game, but it's just too buggy right now. There's nothing more frustrating spending an hour on a mission, fighting your way to the target, nailing it dead center, fighting your way out, taking damage, barely making it back to the English coast....AAAAAAND the game crashes.... There are still a lot of glitches and bugs to work out. I'm hoping I'm able to change my review in the future but for now, save your money . Check back in a few months and see what the reviews look like. Hopefully they work out some more bugs.

I'm really trying to like this game, but so far, I haven't been able to get into it. I just want to fly, not play bicycle simulator. I might give it another shot in the future and change my mind, but for now, I can't recommend it.

After playing this game for a few more hours, it's become apparent there are some major flaws that still need to be worked out. I get a fatal error and the game crashes every time I open up the "Journeys" Playing the Journeys seems to be a major component to this Oregon Trail game, so without being able to play those, I'm missing out on several components of the game....I can't play the harsh winter journey to unlock the hunting knife. Pretty frustrating. I want to like this game, but I can't. Not till this issue gets fixed.

This is a really solid WWII submarine simulator. The controls are easy to learn, but on the more difficult levels, the game is hard to master. If you are looking for a fully immersive sub simulator where you can manually enter the data into the TDC and have amazing external views of your submarine stalking its prey underwater just like in the Silent Hunter series, then you may be disappointed. What this game manages to do really well though is combine arcade style action with a surprisingly in depth simulator. I like the special missions and the crew management aspect of this game. If you grew up playing and loving WW2 submarine games like Silent Service, Aces of the Deep and the Silent Hunter series, you won't go wrong with Crash Dive 2. The developer has also been very quick to respond to bug reports and feedback. Always a plus!

To keep it short and sweet, this is one of the best modern sub simulators I've ever played. I've been a fan of KIllerfish Games for a while now. They continue to put out high quality games.

Overall, this is an excellent game with a lot of replay value. The only criticism I have of this game is that it is way too hard. No matter how many times I've played it, I only get the convicted, killed, or unsolved ending. I have yet to been able to frame anybody else and I have no idea why. Also if you want to commit the crime in the backyard while Frank is taking a whiz, you have to act fast. I mean ridiculously fast. I wish they would give you even just 5 more minutes before he steps outside.

Interesting concept for a game. I give this game high marks for originality and style. It reminds me of Groundhog Day. Living the same day over and over again. The biggest detracting Factor though is the length of the game. When I beat it, I thought I had just beat the opening scene and that the actual game was about to begin. Then the credits rolled and I was like, "Uhhh what???" I think it took me about 10 minutes to beat this game. Yes you can replay it and change the outcome slightly but I just didn't feel like replaying the same scenarios over and over again to unlock a few more achievements. Overall this is a fun game. I would recommend buying it but wait till it's on sale because it's way too short. Would like to see a sequel to this game in the future.
