I am determined to 100% it though
Though it is very different in terms of gameplay, if you enjoyed Blasphemous, you will love Dark Souls.
In NG, I recommend people to go for the Crystal Rapier first so you have the potential bonus Item Discovery the entire rest of the game. Then in NG+, since we have to kill the Crystal Sage again anyways, I mention to get his Sorcery then.
That was my rationale for structuring it that way. At the end of the day though, the Item you choose first doesn't really matter as whatever you get in NG, you just get the other in NG+ instead; especially since the longer you put off the farming, the more Souls you'll be getting each subsequent NG+.
That is actually the exact origin of how I started doing guides in the first place. I cobbled a skeleton of a walkthrough for myself for Metro Last Light starting with Collectibles, then the Moral Points, missable Achievements... then I put in all the Achievements. Made it look better... sort of... & then thought, what the heck, & published it on Steam. Had so much fun in the process, I've been doing it ever since.
Very excited to see they are adding Achievements for the second games DLC. They are adding the Mea Culpa as a 4th Weapon which is super exciting. I have done a playthrough of the base game already on an alt profile & am very much looking forward to new content. Unfortunately though, this will delay my guide since this proves there is new DLCs that are adding Achievements... which I am sure is disappointing to some, so I apologize for that.
Which is why I try to have multiple games/guides on the go so I can bounce around & try to not let it get stale... but that comes with its on problems as you can go from one game/guide to... a lot on the go. I have four guides on the go just from this year, & probably another nine other guides in the back log that I started/got distracted/couldn't finish/& got shelved for later.
My process definitely takes a while depending on the game, but the end result speaks for itself, if I may be so bold. The hardest part is just... time... there are sooooooooo many games I want to cover, & just no where near enough time or motivation to power through it all. My day job is finally picking up in terms of hours as well for the summer season, so I have even less gumption these last few weeks. One game at a time...
But I would definitely love to make guides for Divinity since there is not really many (if any) good 100% guides out there for it. They would be extremely difficult games to do guides for though just with how many long-running Missable Achievements there are in them, not to mention Honor Mode. Lots & lots of research for me to do prior to starting.
Can't tell you when I might be working on them or when they would be released, but eventually, I absolutely will have guides for them. The combat is so freakin addicting in those games!
