How is it possible you develop a game like this without the possibilty of speeding up or slowing down? It is like developing a car without gas pedal or brakes. Everything goed in the same dull pace, and there is no possiblity of having a quiet look at things to decide strategy. And why in gods name do you make everything blurry while on pause? Somebody in the development team must really hate people to enjoy themselves while playing this game.

This railway game is a bit like the epic railroad tycoon, and it is fun to start your railway empire on the map. However, in the long run the emphasis of the game is more focussed on building track, adding signals, and all kind of stuff which seems to make it more like a technical job then like a fun game. There is not enough strategy to make it work.
Besides that, all the tracks that are needed to make the railroad work, make the map less aesthetic. It really bothers me. In the end game the map is more like a patchwork of tracks and stations and warehouses, then like a realistic and nice landscape from the 1800's.

To make it work for me, the computer should take over much of the track building. Adding 40 signals to a piece of track just ain't fun.

Early Access Review
This game has one big disadvantage, it is not possible to save the game at the moment of your choice. For me, it ruins the fun of gaming, without being able to try new strategies, or to undo a turn with bad luck. So till that is fixed, i say: no., bad choice for spening your money.
Besides that, the game does what needs to be done: simulate axis and allies. But that pc game allready existed in de 90's, with a possibility to save.
